Peruvian cardinal stops Communion in the hand

I just watched the Mass in New York and noticed the Pope gave the body of Christ to what seemed to be a majority of the recipients in their hands.

What are your thoughts on this?

My only thought was this:

WOW WHEN YOU COULD RECEIVE THE BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST FROM THE POPE WHY WOULD YOU WANT YOUR HANDS TO COME BETWEEN YOU AND THE VICAR OF CHRIST?

My husband said this:

I WONDER HOW MANY HOSTS WILL BE PLACED ON E-BAY?

That would be quite shocking as the majority who received from the Pope were Nuns or Clergy.

If either way is ok with the Pope, either way is ok with me. Until he decides to change it, I personally don’t see a problem with either way. I can’t see in people’s hearts to tell if they’re not displaying the proper reverence because they decide to take Communion in the hand.
