Well, Trump has a high entertainment value.

About the only thing that is true in this statement.

What the author forgets is that before the Demppublicans are launched into power by their diversity minions the cis-white males who are depending on that affiliate’s majority to put them into power will be expelled from all positions of power within the party, because they belong to the wrong tribal group.

Then there is the infighting among all the identifiers over who owns the biggest hunk of victimhood. It will devolve into arguments between the trans-lesbians vs cis-lesbians vs Hispanic lesbians vs black lesbians vs gay trans vs cis gay vs straight black vs et cetera et cetera et cetera. I do hope to live long enough to enjoy the show.

In the mean time the republocrats will continue to be the party of stupid as they try to burry the populist revolt their rear guard establishment types hate. Good times for all.

It is a novelty of the progressive movement that political speech that differs from their orthodoxy creates a hostile environment. Therefore, we see “safe spaces” and speech codes in college campuses, “micro-aggressions” and “trigger warnings”. These are more fascistic than anything Trump has ever done.

My workplace is a privately owned company. The airport is tax payer funded. That is inappropriate.

By the way, my bosses also have religious icons and pictures on their floor. Is that hostile too?

I began working (somewhere other than the family business) nearly 40 years ago. Every single mentor I have had has instilled in me that politics and religion are not suitable discussions at work.

Hostile work environment is covered under Federal and State employment laws, these laws began to be formed in 1964.

Perhaps you have not worked at a management level or above, therefore, have not had Human Resources and EEOC training.

Private companies are not exempt from Federal and State laws.

I have not worked in any private or publicly held company, from mom & pop to a Fortune 100 company, where displays of political or religious items was allowed. As the laws have stated for almost half a century, if you are going to allow one form of religious or political display in the workplace, you must allow them all. If the Catholic wants to put up a crucifix and the Orthodox to have icons, when the Satanist comes to work you must allow them to display their images, the Scientologist must be allowed to display their L Ron Hubbard photos, etc.

Same goes for political displays.

To have Fox News, a political TV broadcast 8 hours a day in the workplace, unless you are a business owned by Rupert Murdoch or do work for the Republican party, all it takes is one employee who knows their rights and is unafraid of intimidation to file a complaint.

A nursing no home is not a work environment for the residents. A gym is not a work environment for clients.
Political commentary and news on a tv for the benefit of residents and clients are acts of free speech, and do not constitute a hostile work environment.

The real hypocrisy in all of this is the way progressives use college campuses to harass, bully and indoctrinate kids. I never hear a complaint from leftists about that.
