Quick turn on Rush and Fox . . .
OK.

Here are the links . . .

That begs the question. I asked the other poster to cite a specific post where the writer claims to hate Obama.
You’re right. There is probably not a post in which someone says, verbatim, “I hate Obama.”

You win.

Are you suggesting that calling someone Cheeto is evidence of hate?
Seriously–do people really call Pres. Trump cheeto? I assume it’s because of his hair and skin tone?
We had one poster who did and there were more posts using the term cheeto to complain about the term than there were posts that used the term as an insult. So it was a very effective insult in that it annoyed a lot of people.

Yes, Hilary came out with birtherism first. Probably shows where she and Donald were better friends than people think.

Oh, I’m sorry. I don’t understand why you didn’t get a tax cut??? Are you in the USA?
Yes, in New York City.

We (my wife and I) didn’t get a tax cut. That’s just not how it worked out for us.

I’m not complaining about it, but there are plenty of people who didn’t get a tax cut. It all depends on one’s particular situation, state of residence, sources of income, etc.

Well we have members who think it’s ok to call Trump ‘Cheeto’. I guess by that standard it would be acceptable to give Obama a nickname referencing his skin color?
Oh, please. Can you actually not tell the difference? Really. I don’t believe you can’t tell the difference.

Can you please explain the difference? Just for the audience. I am curious. I heard a reference to Trump’s pasty skin and it make me a little uncomfortable. (not here elsewhere in the media)

Well, if Trump’s so good why didn’t he run in 2008? Oh wait, he was losing his shirt in real estate. Then he recovered under Obama and now he’s losing in his own markets. Can’t figure this guy out.

Why do I get the feeling that this is going to be a “gotcha” question (with a “gotcha” that will only make sense to, well, not to me, anyway)?

If you don’t see why mocking an African-American because of the color of his skin is different than giving a nickname to a guy who spends way too much time in tanning beds, or using spray-on tanner, or whatever he does, then there’s no way I can explain it to you. We’re not even speaking the same language.

I think that names and comments about a person’s appearance should be off limits
Apparently I wasn’t the only one who recognized the reference to skin color.

I doubt if Trump was elected to enforce Brexit but now I wonder about his supporters who expect him to micromanage other economies.

Fair enough. I agree Trump does not want to be seen to drive Brexit from the US shores but I think the US offering the UK a trade deal is essential to a successful Brexit and I don’t think it hurts to have the US in the UK’s corner up against the EU. But then I support Brexit so I would say that.

I think a lot of people take that as a reference to Trump’s skin tone.

I take it The Little Sisters of the Poor are happy with their new insurance premiums now?
