As a retired teacher, I struggle with the concept that a teacher should fear that parents might observe what he is teaching.He tweeted about his teaching. That was the content of the tweet - his fear that parents would be observing what he is teaching.
Two thoughts:
- As a teacher, he doesn’t have, nor should he have a say about parents observing what he teaches.
- if he is teaching to his state standards, he has nothing to fear. Parents who don’t like the standards should take that to their state Representative.
