Phoenix is a test market for these ads. I saw my first one last night, and I thought it rocked!

It’s about time the Church fought back! We’ve been seeing LDS and Methodist church ads for ages. Good for the Church for using modern technology to evangelize and to put out true statements about who we are and what we teach/believe! 👍

I can’t believe how I’m just sobbing here at work after watching those ads!!! The one called “Epic” nearly had me standing up and cheering!!!

It’s about time. It’s about time.

“Epic” was truly amazing! I wish I would have seen this years ago. Are there plans to advertise this throughout the US or just in the Diocese of Phoenix?

But a little too late, way too late IMO.

This picture is not reality in most parishes. Folks who buy these ads will be generally sorely disappointed in what they find is the reality. IMO.

Many priests don’t believe, many bishops don’t it seems. Maybe some in the curia? The vatican had to iusse and order on the form of baptism 02/29 cause so many priests are using another form. But will anyone listen to this new order anymore than they did to JP 2’s instruction of the fidelity oath and Catholic colleges?

An act of desperation coming, maybe not co-incidentally, in the week of the Pew report showing the basic collapse of Catholcism in the US - 'cept for immigrants.
 
So we just give up? Are you kidding?

No - we go to our parish priests and we tell them that we want the REAL Catholic Faith - not some 1975 watered down version that is close to meaningless. And the more they hear it, hopefully they will get the message.

But I’m not willing to just say - oh darn, too little too late, so don’t bother. Not on my watch. I will fight for my Faith, and I don’t care if it’s too late. It’s not too late until Christ comes, or I get called Home before then.

AMEN! I hope everyone will visit this site & support it. I am in the Arizone area for the winter & see the ad daily. It is just what we need to do. We must fight all the lies America is being fed re Catholics, Priests, Creation, Mary’s Immaculate Conception, and on and on & on. More Catholics need to come home & help us fight ignorance. We are Here

Anyone who sees this will be sorely, sorely disappointed in the “truth” they find in the typical parish in the US. IMO.

Defending family - yeah right. Last year, according to an EWTN report this week, the US Catholic church paid out more in sex abuse claims than ever before.

IMO there is not a whole lot of truth in advertising in these ads. But anyone who follows them up will find that out on their own. IMO of course.

Why are you here? Is it bash our Faith? If that is the case, go someplace else and find what makes you happy. I suspect that will leave you with no where to go.

I’m just sick to death of people picking on Catholics, our Faith, and our Church. :mad:

If you looked further, you will also notice that although payouts were up, the actual number of sex abuse claims were WAY down, and that MOST of those reported last year were decades old, some involving priests that were already dead. The number of genuinely new cases was relatively small.

I read about this in the Catholic Sun earlier this week. I haven’t seen a commercial yet though. There used to be tons of LDS ads, but I don’t remember any Methodist ones.

What a pessimistic state of depression. That view has been espoused for centuries, yet we are still here and always will be. I don’t have time for such myopic thought, and I hope the rest of y’all don’t either.

Here’s wishing all here a joyous and Happy Easter, I know mine will be.
 
Have y’all seen the personal stories section? Tons of video of people telling how they fell away, then came home, to the Catholic Church.
