Yeah, that’s Our Lady of Fatima. I liked it because her mantle is real, and especially beautiful around her face.

What I like about it also is that the scale of the lace is perfect for the statue. Anything heavier would be wrong, this is the right “weight.” (A pet peeve of mine with Infant of Prague statues.)

Lufthansa German aeroplane in the New Zealand city of Christchurch, today. It is in New Zealand to bring German tourists back home.

Not everyday that a German aeroplane lands in this far away land…
