What it is is a physic student’s attempt to show, using Boolean logic and algebra that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is the one and only true god.

The FSM is the one true God and He does not need algebra to exist. He’s so powerful that He could have created the universe and everything even whilst non-existent. Some say that is what He did, which only confirms the FSM is supreme.

I’m interested, could you explain it just a bit further?

At this stage, “No”. I don’t have the formal training, although I am a little familiar with Boolean Algebra. It’s based on a comment my old pastor made, and I had a lot of respect for him. He basically said he thought there’d be a proof for God and it would be based on “zero”.

It sounds like flimsy grounds to make a prediction, but I found from experience that he was so accurate with his other predictions, that I think the proof based on “zero” will come along sooner or later.

I suppose the basis will be there is a choice between absolute nothingness, and the fact that a highly organised universe exists. So it is either a case between a vanishing point, or something which must, as the only other option, be infinite, since the alternative sum set cannot be a bound set.

Ah, logic and religion. You can prove anything with logic and religion.

   Oh gee, this reminds me so much of a graduate psychology class I had to take where we would reduce optical illusions to mathematical equations. If you passed you would be able to get into a Ph.D. program. If you failed you were out.
   
   I never understood a bit of what was going on but I got a ‘B’ because the final was multiple choice and I was lucky (still didn’t get my Ph.D. because I fell and ended up with a severe back injury and became “disabled” instead of “doctor” which is no great loss to the field of psychology).
   
   That class terrified me.
   
   But I could certainly use $50,000, too. Even $5,000.
