PP has spent years–decades–painting itself as a beneficial organization, and trying to polish its public image. It has insinuated itself into the government, the schools, and teaching materials. But from the very beginning it has been dedicated to the promotion of sexual license, the promotion of artificial birth control even to children, and providing abortion. Abortion is where the money is.It’s amazing that people still support such evil. Even many supposed Catholics.

Arrange a lifestyle with little consequences that will lead to that corner
Then offer an out at the cost of your soul.

I think that if the series of undercover videos has not produced a change in the public consciousness, I don’t know what else will. If a similar series of videos showed an organization brutalizing and killing puppies and kittens, the American public would rise up en masse and demand the organization be ended. I love animals, but we appear to hold children’s lives in less esteem than that of a lion in Africa. And yet I saw another thread article about how support for PP is up. I think America, in many respects, has made its peace with abortion, and is set on seeing the consequences through to the bitter end.
No kidding, compare the outrage over Cecil the lion being killed and calls by some people to murder the dentist that shot him. Sadly polls show even many Catholics support abortion.I think that if the series of undercover videos has not produced a change in the public consciousness, I don’t know what else will. People are more upset about seeing pictures or representations of what Planned Barrenhood does than they are about what Planned Barrenhood actually does. You know, I was reading a story about a week ago about people being up in arms over baby dolls being hung in front of a house as a halloween decoration and the only thing I could think was how many people are offended by that and yet not offended by abortion, where real live human children are being dismembered and murdered.
*]People think abortion is a sad but necessary evil.
*]People don’t think the unborn human has as much value as the born human.
*]People have a guilty conscience and can’t confront the evidence.
*]People are obstinate.
Those are some of my own suppositions for the various reasons these videos are being dismissed.
Yes. I have wondered this. I’m beginning to suspect that, at least for America, there will be no peaceful end to abortion. On a purely natural level, I don’t think the demise will come from within America. And one wonders, too, whether someday a society that does not countenance ghoulish consumption of babies; that does not accept headhunting, might berserk out and do everything in its power to destroy those who do.
It’s kind of fascinating, in a dark kind of way, isn’t it? This showed up on my facebook feed the other day (I think Equal Rights Institute posted it, they are worth following by the way):People are more upset about seeing pictures or representations of what Planned Barrenhood does than they are about what Planned Barrenhood actually does.
