All contraception has failure rates and a contraception that protects against some things does not protect other things. Safe sex is a mythYeah, I don’t really care what sources you can throw at me. I have it on good judgement and evidence that people in their late teens can be just as good at making decisions as those in their later years, and sometimes even better. It doesn’t really matter when the brain fully matures. That doesn’t in anyway prove that teens who use condoms are going to get sudden urges to rip off the rubber and spread chlamydia because they’re too stupid to recognise the importance of safe sex. How stupid do you think they are? That’s like claiming we shouldn’t let teens drive because they’ll suddenly decide to run people over after the thrill of driving normally wears out. Both claims are absurd and are demonstrably false.
I mean, there are arguments against contraception that are quite good. Sadly, this isn’t one of them.
