That’s a GREAT idea. I do have the drive and energy. My problem is time, time, time. But God will take care of that in His time!! I can work on the project but I cannot be the project right now. We all have to work together on this one.

God will provide the energy. Just press the idea. Talk it up amongst the pro-life community. This doesn’t take any money. You could always offer $10 a month towards a rental. These $10 add up.

Apparently not for some folks. I never thought that the range of Jesus’ power is measurable in feet and yards.

When Cardinal O’Connor knelt in front of an abortion clinic and said the Rosary, the visual image had an impact.

That’s what people are doing presently. Where’s the visual or aural impact to those at the abortion mill of people praying in a chapel some distance away?
 
The Church has been around for over 2000 years.

Planned Parenthood has been around for about 90 years.

I’ll go with the Church on this one 🙂

That’s the whole point – if this is being done in opposition to abortion, doing it within sight and sound of the abortion clinic is a powerful statement.

If a Saturday morning crowd of people kneeling on the public sidewalks next to the abortion mill reciting the rosary and other prayers isn’t enough of a powerful statement, I don’t see how an enclosed chapel down the street is going to do better than that.

No. I was thinking of the logistics.

The wife and I would go to the Perpetual Adoration Chapel at Our Lady of Good Counsel before and after we’d join the others at the mill Saturdays. It wasn’t but a mile or so away from University Ave.

It has come to the attention, that your management style for the Church you are currently president of, does not conform to our guidelines for enlighted organization leaders. Constant reference to the instructions of one Mr. J. Christ, or the writings from a book published approximately 2000 years ago (I AM WHO AM Publishers) , does not release you from your responsiblity to follow OUR guidelines.

As such, we expect you to do the following:
  1. Issue a memo permitting the use of any kind abortificant or birth control device by any member for any reason. Humans do not have life until we say they do. There are too many people already, and you are ruining the fun for those that already born.
  2. Realize that disease is a result of lack of protection, not a result of a lack of self control. Remember we are no better than animals.
  3. Delete all passages from this book you refer to as the “Word of God”, that condemn any kind of so called “perverse” sexual activity. Your views are backwards and not in line with current “enlightened” thought. This hate speech in written form will no longer be tolerated.
  4. As your hiring policies are inherently sexist, you are instructed to begin an affirmative action program that will ensure a 50% female content in the priesthood (priestesshood).
  5. Implement a sensitivity program to help change the mindset of your management team to reflect a more modern line of thinking.
Failure to implement any of these changes will result in a lawsuit. You will be contacted by our lawyer, Mr. Lou C. Furr, to ensure compliance.
