Breaking News: Fence GONE from vacant lot near PP
Yesterday evening, workmen REMOVED the ugly chain-link fence around the vacant lot across from Planned Parenthood.
My partner Matt went out there yesterday to shoot a few pictures. He also examined the original permits for the fence and posted his report on the blog – see below for a link.
The fence was originally put up last October by Dominicks/Safeway after Planned Parenthood launched a nation- ide phone assault complaining about our presence there praying and counseling.
What does the disappearance of this fence mean for the BIG PRO-LIFE RALLY coming up APRIL 26?
The rally will be more pleasant without the ugly fence, but we still want to steer clear of that lot. And who knows – maybe a new fence will be up before then.
Speaking of the April 26 “It’s a matter of LIFE & DEATH” Rally, I want to let you know that I’ve put together some materials to help you promote the event (all of these are PDFs):
- BULLETIN ANNOUNCEMENT: Ask your pastor to put this in the church bulletin, or even make a pulpit announcement: fvfapp.org/docs/2008/BulletinApril26Rally.pdf
- FULL PAGE FLYER: You can put one of these up at church or pass them out to your friends:
fvfapp.org/docs/2008/April26Rally.pdf
- QUARTER PAGE POSTCARD: This could go in the bulletin if space is an issue, or print them out on postcard paper:

And now here’s that link to Matt’s report on the “disappearing fence”:

Never a dull moment!
