A half a billion$$$of federal funds annually,to kill innocent babies and make a profit from selling their body parts. This is beyond evil.I agree with a prior post,PP MUST be defunded.
Sickening
Sadly hospitals make billions of dollars from the business of organ procurement and harvesting of apneic comatose patients judged to be “legally and medically dead”.

These patients are operated on without anesthetic and often times they react violently and need to be paralyzed in order to procure the organs.

I believe in the near future the uniform determination of death act is going to be shown for what it really is: A legal way to procure organs from patients who are in the process of dying.

People seem outraged about this planned parenthood expose but they should research China and the allegations of harvesting organs of fallun Gong prisoners for profit.

Yes,yet another form of evil upon the defenseless.
😦

Deborah Nucatola - that is the name that needs to be spelled out beneath her jail photo. No legal gaming what is “cost” and what is “price”. She was engaged in pricing the baby’s body parts and advising how abortionists are now positioning their knives to keep the organs in pristine condition. She has been got cold! Put the cuffs on her while reading her rights!
Pray for Deborah Nucatola, all abortionists, evil assistants, door keepers and Planned Parenthood America Foundation frequent visitors to Obama/Clinton money grubbers that they are punished.

How does the description of “crush above and crush below” the organs fail to show protection of the product?

Reading comments on news stories, someone brought something up that is now bothering me. Can a Christian take part in deceit even if the result is good in some way? Isn’t praising the video makers in a sense praising deceit? Do the ends justify the means in this case?
Why would this be any different than a Catholic policeman or FBI agent working undercover, or manipulating a witness to confess their crime?

The video was created by the Center for Medical Progress - and distributed by LiveAction. The Director of Medical Services is at a lunch meeting with people who seemingly organise medical research, who were seeking foetal tissue. But of course in fact, she is actually having lunch with conservative operatives running one of the many stings LiveAction is good at promoting. Don’t get me wrong, L.A. isn’t doing anything wrong - but the video is wonderful propaganda and we really shouldn’t take it quite at face value.

It claim to reveal that PP is violating both the D&X ban and the law forbidding the sale of foetal tissue. But there is no evidence from the video of either claim, if you watch it. She points out that the “partial birth” abortion ban is very confusing, which makes sense as it was written by ideologues and not by people who understand medical science, making it open to interpretation. She does not say she violates it (because, presumably, she doesn’t).

Nor does she agree to sell the issue. The price she talks about seemingly refer to transport costs rather than anything to do with an actual sale.

But of course that’s all just fluff, because the real meat of the video is her talking candidly about the process of getting the tissue. LA is clearly a master at focussing on gross medical details for max impact.

I’m not very squeamish but it wasn’t easy to listen to her talking about extracting organs. But people who actually work in the medical field, do, in fact, become inured to gore in the way that most of us never do, because we’re not regularly exposed to it. (If you don’t believe me, some of the dinner table conversations started by my mother, who’s a GP, could curdle milk). And we should not forget that the director was working under the assumption that she was speaking to peers, in a profession where they would be similarly accustomed to talking about it.

There’s no doubt abortion is disgusting (as well as, I need hardly point out, immoral from a Catholic point of view). Abortion also gets more gross the later in pregnancy it gets. But so is heart surgery - or childbirth. We don’t deny people who need help in those cases because the help can be pretty disgusting. Nor - legally - should be deny people that help when it comes to needing abortion. (I’m not repeat NOT saying abortion is ever, or in 95% of cases, remotely ok, so please don’t attack me for it - but like it or not it’s legal so we should deal with it on that basis). We also shouldn’t deny women who want to donate fetal or embryonic remains to science any more than we would deny someone who wants to be an organ donor, even though the latter is also pretty gross.

Live Action is a propaganda group which specialises, as far as I can tell, in publishing titilatingly gross videos which aim to push an agenda far wider than banning legal abortion (which I have some sympathy for of course, as an aim of itself). ( if you are wondering what i meanPolitico). Their attack on Planned Parenthood (which does a lot more than simply provide hassle-free abortions), isn’t about abortion, but part of its longstanding campaign to demonise an organisation that makes sex safer and easier - in addition to making it possible for women to plan when they have children. Think and delve a little further before demonising them, or taking the video at face value…

Is anyone surprised with the latest development from the culture of death?
Not me! PP’s barbarism long ago crossed the threshold of “over the top” and into the land of “cartoonish”. I can’t even call our culture “immoral” anymore. This is voluntary blindness and idiocy.

While it is sensational and obviously edited, there were no lies in the video. The real propaganda is the spin now coming out to defend their actions.

yes, the miracle of cost accounting will show they are just recovering allocated costs rather than ‘selling’ the parts. It may even show they are losing money, if the accountant is good 😉

LOL, for non-profits selling services, it’s all managed with hazy cost accounting. Every revenue stream is loaded with allocated overheads and program management fees. What seems indisputable is they charge full price for the actual abortion and have created another revenue stream from recycling the baby parts.

My problem with this is each patient becomes a revenue stream and it’s in the nature of any organization to maximize their revenue, even if they are taxed as a non-profit. All their motivation is to conduct the procedure. This helps explain why they resist showing sonograms of the baby in the womb, since it will cause more patients to opt out of the procedures.

She shared the facts of how they operate. It’s shocking because we were unaware. How do her ‘assumptions’ really matter?

You are comparing apples and oranges, plus people are not saying the mother can’t legally chose to make the donation.

While the Live Action content is shocking and their videos obviously are edited to tell a point of view, that is hardly ‘propaganda’. You have yet to point out where they were misleading in the content. I get that you believe in the PP mission.

On Catholic Answers radio show today Patrick Coffin was talking to a priest about this issue and found out that Facebook is now beginning to block Christian-specific content as well as #ProLife content. This came to light due to people posting about this Planned Parenthood story.

I deactivated my Facebook account because of all the anti-Christian stuff going on a few weeks ago, specifically because people were attacking me. I guess that is not being censored

I really would advise the people who are concerned about editing (from both sides) to read the 60 page transcript of all of the conversations. The dialogue is bolded so one can find what they edited and why. Yes they edited the video to promote sensational news, but unfortunately anything less than sensationalism makes the news these days. The full interview is less sensational, but is more disturbing in the way that it outlines how widespread the business is. In fact, I doubt that they would have needed to video tape the interview as the researchers that use the tissue are part of large companies and even large universities. Both sides should know the full dialogue so as to avoid sounding ignorant.

What really stood out in this video was the total disconnect exhibited by Planned Parenthood’s Deborah Nucatola. It was chilling to me the way she discussed how she performed these grizzly procedures on innocent babies with such a blasé attitude, as if she was simply sitting among friends discussing family life…all while she continued eating her salad and sipping wine.

Peace, Mark

That’s close to the same thing Mike Huckabee said tonight, she was saying these things, with fork in hand, he said it twice, the same sort of reaction. That was on Hannity.

This is horrible and is further evidence of just how evil Planned Parenthood is.

Well she deals with it every day. Of course she is nonchalant. My mum (who’s a doctor) will talk about outstandingly disgusting things at the dinner table, entirely blazé and not realising her husband or children (if we’re gone home) don’t want to know while we’re eating. Of all the stuff in the video that’s horrible, her reaction to talking about it I think shouldn’t be it.

(Not that I’m defending PP!)

Like a Mafia-Hitman could talk about his business in a nonchalant way, there are books like that out there.

Yes it is merely a business and they have lawyers analyzing that aspect to protect them.
The more I study this the easier it is to see that while what she is talking about is disgusting beyond measure,it is probably considered legal. Even D and X abortions she was referring to are completely legal. The medical community does not even recognize “partial birth abortion” because usually the baby is killed first which protects them from violating the law.
