On Catholic Answers radio show today Patrick Coffin was talking to a priest about this issue and found out that Facebook is now beginning to block Christian-specific content as well as #ProLife content. This came to light due to people posting about this Planned Parenthood story.

I deactivated my Facebook account because of all the anti-Christian stuff going on a few weeks ago, specifically because people were attacking me. I guess that is not being censored
I follow some secular pro-life groups on facebook and one was complaining of that the other day so it’s not limited to Christians. I guess they love abortion as much as they hate Christians.

Why would this be any different than a Catholic policeman or FBI agent working undercover, or manipulating a witness to confess their crime?
Yeah, I agree. I was unsure before. Abyssinia posted a wonderful article by Peter Kreeft that talks about the morality of it.

What if someone had worked undercover to torpedo Hitler’s or Stalin’s psychopathic plans? What is the difference here? Of course the morality of this would be sound!

I can’t get the Boston Herald article to open on my computer but I believe there is at least one MA senator calling for an investigation. Planned Parenthood here claims they don’t take part in the organ donation so I’m not sure what the MA government can do but it certainly can’t hurt.

Does anybody know if the companies that sell the baby parts are for-profit or non-profit? I’m not even sure how they get away with selling body parts in the first place.

Since the whole non-profit schtick is a bit of a ruse, I’d be more curious about who sits on their boards, and compensation.

They get a lot of government funds, I’ll say generally around $500 million and they make endorsements on candidates, grade candidates, have some of their former officers or directors become an assistant to a congress person. It seems like a racket, if the government defunds it, there will be a big battle over it.

They are not “selling” the body parts. That was been well debunked. They are donating them and taking a small fee ($30-$100) to cover their expenses related to the donation.

There was some sort of catalog that has made the rounds on the web today. Maybe later on I will try to find it. “Cover their expenses related to the donation”. What???

 Does not looked debunked. Maybe by some publications which I would not heed. What an evil practice.

That sounds like a bordello that was busted near me recently. They claimed they didn’t take money for the act of prostitution, they just accepted “donations.”

It didn’t work for them, either.

Clearly, what has not been debunked was their other violation of federal law, based on her statements:

From 42 U.S. Code § 289g–1 - Research on transplantation of fetal tissue

(2) Additional statement
In research carried out under subsection (a) of this section, human fetal tissue may be used only if the attending physician with respect to obtaining the tissue from the woman involved makes a statement, made in writing and signed by the physician, declaring that—
(A) in the case of tissue obtained pursuant to an induced abortion—
(i) the consent of the woman for the abortion was obtained prior to requesting or obtaining consent for a donation of the tissue for use in such research;
**(ii) no alteration of the timing, method, or procedures used to terminate the pregnancy was made solely for the purposes of obtaining the tissue; **

CBS announced there are more undercover videos that are going to be released (about 12), so this will, thankfully, continue to be a public relations and legal nightmare for PP. It will be interesting to see how long and how hard their congressional supporters, like Hillary and Obama, will continue to back them, or if there is a point at which they will throw them under the bus, and what that point is…

One of the country’s foremost anti-abortion crusaders — who worked on the explosive undercover investigation into the alleged farming of aborted babies’ body parts at Planned Parenthood — said the group plans to drop another stunner next week.
“We have thousands upon thousands of hours of video and notes, and this is the first piece that we’re going to release,” Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, an anti-abortion organization based in Kansas, said of this week’s eight-minute video that has already gone viral with more than 1.5 million views on YouTube. A second unedited three-hour video was also released.

Good, glad to hear it. I don’t know if Hilary or Obama will ever give up; so many of their supporters are committed PP fans and supporters; pretty die hard about it. (no pun intended) :o Don’t be surprised if they hold on even with this going on. It’s an integral part of a pretty mainstream lifestyle.

It’s clear you don’t have a background in business. The word “selling” isn’t really an accounting term.

Revenue is used to describe the money received by an organization, regardless of their profit classification for taxes. All incoming money is considered revenue, be it from donations, business activities or investment activity.

PP receives **revenue **from providing baby parts. They also receive revenue from payment for procedures and from federal grants.

I expect outright 0$ donation of baby parts is very rare, but further disclosure will reveal all.

This isn’t revenue. The money is to cover the cost of transporting the tissue to the donor recipient. This is just another ginned up non-controversy from a desperate movement of radical anti-choicers.

So you are saying that those who assert that the Stem Express catalog exist are lying? Dr. Nucatola has said their Planned Parenthood does business with them.

Also, “a desperate movement of radical anti-choicers”, I certainly find that statement unbecoming and uncivil.

Prove your assertions please.

I note, this has been said two times in this thread without a thread of evidence.

I see Dr. Carson is on talking about this,
Carson was a professor of neurosurgery, oncology, plastic surgery, and pediatrics, and he was the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital.[15] At 33, he became the youngest major division director in the hospital’s history as director of pediatric neurosurgery. He was also a co-director of the Johns Hopkins Craniofacial Center.
I will go with Dr. Carson. Let’s hope PPH is defunded nationwide, kudos to states that have.
The Retail Value of Fetal Organs Harvested by Planned Parenthood
An undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood has turned up evidence that it sold “intact” fetal organs to at least one California company known as Stem Express. Stem Express charges $400 to $25,000 for stem cells grown from fetal organs.
In the undercover video release Tuesday, Planned Parenthood’s Senior Director of Medical Services Dr. Deborah Nucatola explains that fetal organs they harvest are available at a cost of $30-$100 per specimen. However, she added that the national organization does not offer clients a “menu” because their own lawyers don’t, “want us to be the middle people for this issue right now.”
Dr. Nucatola then mentions that another buyer called Stem Express had approached them with the same request.
Stem Express is a California-based company started in 2010. Its website was apparently put into a maintenance mode on Tuesday after the story broke. However, the Internet archive shows the site listed “fetal tissue” and “fetal liver” for sale at least as far back as 2012:

Oh please! You can’t be serious!
