This might be the most transparently disingenuous statement I have ever read on CA forums.
Really, statements like this make it hard to have serious discussion.
Please pray for those who are woefully uninformed.

So, sorry for venturing off. I am now equally worried that stand-alone clinics not affiliated with PP are doing the same thing. It is imperative that we work and pray to close all these clinics, as there is such ugliness that happens behind closed doors. This is why I feel a wave of relief when another one is closed.

God bless.

Exactly, private practitioners can be doing this as well.

I think it’s a valid concern. Planned Parenthood have a lot of power but they also know they have a lot of enemies so they are more likely to stay within the law (or as close to the edge as possible). Smaller places can slip through the cracks. They certainly aren’t regulated like they should be.

I need to pray and advocate more for the unborn. This has shaken me to its core.
Me too times 1000. This affected me more than I would have expected. It’s very upsetting.

Off-the-cuff news source; still, I doubt if they’d be able to actually manufacture letters over this and often, we won’t hear this from the MSM.
Have you seen this on TV news? I imagine Fox has been talking about it. For TV news I only watch the local news and sometimes CNN ( 😊 ) but I haven’t seen anything yet.

From the article:

The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) is an extreme activist organization

 If abortion was illegal Planned Parenthood would be considered an extreme activist organization. It’s a relative term that doesn’t advance the conversation. Besides, what’s wrong with an extreme activist organization? As long as they don’t advocate violence I don’t see the problem.

I disagree that the videos violate patient privacy. I hope they are very careful with the footage they have and don’t end up violating someone’s privacy. That would be a terrible thing to do.

The only thing that is concerning to me is this:

“The board members of this group believe that abortion is “genocide,” and employ people who went to jail for attempting to bomb a women’s health clinic. They are also connected with the man who murdered abortion provider Dr. George Tiller.”

What is the connection here, if any?

You are so correct about regulations. Same with FDA audits…go after the big pharm companies hoping the little ones will comply. The independent one in South Bend I spoke of was shut down because of a barrage of letters to the IN Board of Health over systemic violations. And that is only I clinic in one state.

I watched the third video not knowing what to expect. I scared my poor son because I was shaking after watching it. I have been getting nightmares. I hope this is the beginning of the end. God bless you.

Cecile Richards claimed this in her interview on ABC. She offered no evidence . Even if it were true it is totally irrelevant. the tapes speak for themsleves

Will do!

Until then I remain highly skeptical that PP directors’ goal was to get girls pregnant by offering them defective contraceptives.

EDIT: I KNEW IT! I just did a search of the wonderful Abby Johnson, whom I trust implicitly and immensely.

Here’s what she says (emphasis mine) :
"There is a widespread** myth** running around the prolife movement that Planned Parenthood gives out faulty, low dose birth control in order to create more abortions. Now, I will be the first person to come out and expose the poor practices within Planned Parenthood, but this is not one of them. Planned Parenthood gives out the exact same type of birth control that you would receive at any pharmacy. When exposing evil, we must always do so with honesty and integrity.

Just a side note, the person who has always said this worked in a non-Planned Parenthood abortion clinic more than 30 years ago. Maybe that was the case in the clinic where she worked many years ago, but that is not, and has not been the practice in Planned Parenthood facilities."Redirecting...

Myth exposed.
QED.
So, the information was for non-PP abortion clinics. Glad that is cleared up, but I’m not
sure we should be that heartened that PP is not doing that as a practice since those
clinics are still responsible for an increase in abortions each year. I’m sure I read that
from Abby Johnson. In Texas, PP funding has been allocated to women’s health
clinic. I would like for Congress to do that same with money currently going to PP.

Points that I was making and that have now been substantiated:

-it strained credulity to think that PP was intentionally giving out defective contraceptives

-and even if one believed it, to be asserting it without any kind of validation is just plain wrong.

Or rather, to assert it based on the fact that “they’ve done dishonest things in the past” and “it walks like a duck”…is just plain wrong.

That would be like saying, “I know that my neighbor stole that car because he has been in jail before.” If that’s the only evidence you have “because he has been in jail”, that would be…bearing false witness.

I am glad that I took the time to metaphorically shake my finger at some folks here asserting things without evidence.

You can quit with the public forum chastisement already,Thank you!

Perhaps we get back to the topic at hand. Another tape came out today. Planned Parenthood has hired a public relations firm that is attempting to get news outlets to refrain from showing the tape. I know it is receiving wide coverage on Fox news but I’m wondering if it has been reported on other networks?

No, I think the MSM has gotten wise to it - going forward it might just be that Fox and other “extreme right wing, violently anti abortion” media outlets participate. (hopefully I am wrong but I doubt it) They will all show the ISIS videos, but not these. Little too close to the bone - if you’ll pardon the pun. The videos will no doubt get viewing on the Internet though; this effort to shut down PP will have to come from the people, not our fearless leaders and free press.

Carol Everett, former abortion provider and clinic operator, has publicly asserted in the documentary “Blood Money: The Business of Abortion” that girls were given not “defective” birth control, but birth control that had to be taken at the same time every day. The clinic counted on the girls not taking the pills regularly at the same time every day, and the clinic counted on the girls then contacting them for help when they did become pregnant–this was the clinic’s strategy she asserts. Her description of this strategy is in the first 2.5 minutes of this snippet from the documentary: youtube.com/watch?v=MzpZYBIAcL4

Ms. Everett does state that “defective” and “cheap” condoms were distributed.

So Ms. Everett apparently has had a different experience than Ms. Johnson–entirely possibly depending on how each clinic was run.

The documentary has been shown over the past several years at many parishes in my state.

What is the tool for getting these “body parts”? Life news runs this article:

lifenews.com/2015/07/27/this-is-the-device-planned-parenthood-is-using-to-get-aborted-babys-body-parts-for-sale/

They ran down the time limits of abortion last night on O’Reilly; 12 weeks for France for example. Apparently, in the US at 39 weeks, they could run one of these abortions and get body parts this way. It is something to check on, I know recently we have had 20 week legislation being pushed in congress as well as the law in many states.
Here’s the video about a woman hired to sort out the fetuses aka non-humans in pro-choice minds.

WARNING: Grab tissues, a bucket for the vomit and your puppy to hold.

Excatly, and everybody is somehow connected to everybody else.

Maybe you unkowingly attended the same anti-abortion rally? Maybe you read the same websites and signed the same petitions? Proof enough that you’re 100% in cahoots.

It doesn’t matter if satan himself were filming the videos. The unedited full videos are available online to view, and they are actually worse than the shorter edited ones, and there is nothing “edited” to change what was said or the message said. The people on the video work for PP, and they are truthfully discussing things PP does. Period.

Yes, I can see how some abortion providers did indeed intentionally provide inferior contraceptives, hoping the kids would have mucho sex, get pregnant and then come to them for assistance.

I just don’t think this was PP’s modus.

Carol Everett was an independent abortion provider, yes?
