To the one who suggests the use of condoms, it is never right to encourage our kids to do wrong even if the consequences on a temporal level seem great. Our Catholic faith teaches that condom use is a grave sin and to give our children permission to use such would be a grave sin.
Also, I think that one thing that should not be underestimated is the power of prayer. God loves our children more than we do. We can and should raise our children well, but we certainly don’t have control over everything they do. We do our part and then it is time to pray and leave them in the hands of a loving Father and a protective mother (Mary–their heavenly mother).
