Please pray for my husband’s uncle. He had surgery a few weeks ago for esophageal cancer, and he has not been recovering from the surgery well. He is in a coma, and he is on a respirator. His family will be making the very difficult decision to keep him on life support or to withdraw it over the next few days. Joe has been a deacon in his parish for about 10 years, and he and his wife have been very active in their parish.

Thank you very much.

Will include your husband’s uncle, and family in my rosary in the morning, GOD be with them all.

Merciful Lord, You have seen the love which Joe has for You. You have heard his words of praise and seen him act on his faith. Shelter him now, in the shadow of Your wing, O Gracious Father, as he undergoes the test of his life. Strengthen his family in faith and love, that they submit to Your Divine Will in every matter. In Your immeasurable love incline Your ear to hear the intercession of Your Son, our beloved Lord Jesus, on Joe’s behalf. Everything is possible to You, Lord. Grant that Joe’s suffering may begin his Purgatory here on earth, that his soul may be as pure as the moment of his baptism, so that at Your call, he will ascend directly to Your Heavenly Kingdom. Remember him for each occasion that he denied himself, took up his cross and followed Christ. Loving God, how can we deny You the worship due You? How can we cling to the soul that is Yours? Help us with the strength which Christ gained for us, to allow You, the source of all love, to accomplish Your Eternal plan for Joe and his loved ones. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen, Alleluia!

Hail Mary, full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners,
Now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Praying for his soul.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Loving and Eternal God, You have graciously called Joe to Your Kingdom. Judge him mercifully and look with kindness upon his service, as Christ came not to be served, but to serve. Grant eternal rest unto his spirit, and Heavenly comfort unto his beloved family. We praise You and thank You for the blessing of his presence among us these many years, and with hope, look forward to Your promise of an eternity celebrating with joy, reunited with all of the faithful. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for eve and ever. Amen, alleluia!
