I heard that someone I was friends with many years ago, who has had a serious illness for a while, is nearing the end of their life.
This person has had many ups and downs and has had some big blessings including family, but also suffered much in their life, starting in childhood.
Please pray for them at this difficult time for them and their family. Pray that they have a peaceful passing and are welcomed home by the Lord.
(Due to the situation I don’t feel comfortable even putting an initial or pseudonym, but God will know who it is when you pray.)

We’re as reconciled as we’re going to get in this life. We don’t bear each other any ill will though, at least I don’t for them and I’m 99 percent sure they don’t for me.
There’s a lot of things that due to circumstances are best not explained, discussed, or talked about in this life. I give them to God to “fix” because they are beyond my ability to deal with.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal ( Tis_Bearself). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Tis_Bearself’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Thank you all for the prayers. My former friend has not passed away yet but will likely be within the week. They have many, many people giving support and encouragement along the way, which is good, I am happy for them that they have that.
 
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep.

Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love’s sake.
