Hi all, thank you again for the prayers.
Friend is not deceased. This is turning into a very difficult and very long drawn out thing. Cancer is rotten and to the credit of the person and their family, they opted to go the natural route and not any sort of euthanasia route. Please continue to pray for them and their family.

The “good” news is that I was able some days ago to exchange a couple words with them when they were still able to communicate via their family member. I thought it might be my last chance. We had a very short, nice exchange. For that I thank God. We had not previously communicated for the past 11 years and I thought the person might have forgotten me, but they didn’t. Afterwards I cried for about a half hour.

Please pray that the Lord takes my friend home, As Soon As Possible. I know God’s will be done, but this is rough. It’s time for them to go home, I am at the stage of “Enough is enough, Lord”. Please pray!

@Tis_Bearself I am praying for your friend to be released from their earthly bonds and be freed of their suffering. Grief’s journey is personal so I don’t know what you are going through. But from what you have said about your friend and this situation, you have loved as Christ expects us to. ‘Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.’ Ephesians 4:32 Peace of Christ be with you.

Thanks for your prayers everyone.
My friend died yesterday after a long battle with cancer.
Left a wife and a little child.
Please pray for his soul.

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he Rest In Peace.
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace.
Amen.

And May Jesus comfort his family and friends, and wipe every tear from their eyes, till they meet again in Heaven.
