Please guide health professionals in interpreting and applying medical care and treatment, and in providing psychological and community support where it is needed.

Please help those who are undergoing tests and awaiting results to find peace in the time that elapses before the results come though. In their natural concern please help them to trust in You and in all that is medically available.

Please ensure that they receive the loving support of others at this time and during treatment and recovery, or during the length of their illness. If the diagnosis is not hopeful please help them to find wholesome ways of coping with their illness.

Please help them to draw ever deeper into Your life and their destiny in You.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands.
