Please pray for an addict facing withdrawals and detox

Lord, you have made each and every one of us out of love. Please look at this broken world and heal it. Lord, please be with all addicts, recovered or not, tonight and bless them with your presence, grace and healing. Let your grace start the healing process that will lead them to complete and total recovery in you. Without you, not one person on this planet has any hope for a future. You love all people equally. Lord, please heal all addicts and especially the person I’m praying for. Strengthen the family, friends and support systems of addicts so that they may offer the consistent love the addict needs to be whole and healed. Please touch researchers who are working on cures for addiction and change our society to have compassionate hearts for those struggling with addiction. Lord, work a miracle in the lives of these poor afflicted ones and let them be made new in you for the glory of God, united with your sacrifice on the cross.

Lord, please offer total, miraculous healing for the addict I’m praying for. Protect them from temptation, bad influences, despair and all relapse. Guard their future. Provide support systems and better friends. Please let this person come to know an enjoy a deep relationship with you. Let this young persons’ healing be a witness to your infinite love and mercy.

Have just heard from his family that this poor young man has relapsed again following his surgery. They are devastated by the news and fear for his life and soul. They followed the best medical advice and using pain medication was unavoidable for this necessary surgery but unfortunately led to his relapse.

Please lift up this young addict before the throne of God and pray for his speedy and miraculous healing from all addiction and for his family who are suffering from fear and sorrow. Please pray that God would provide for his complete healing and conversion and provide justice for the dealer who intentionally sought him out while he was recovering from surgery and vulnerable.

Please pray for this young man who is continuing to relapse in his addiction after his surgery.
His family ask for prayers that he would be healed of this terrible addiction, open his heart to God and that his life would be spared. Please pray for his family as well who are losing hope and living in great pain and fear for their loved one.
