You are a blessing to the Church.Good day you wonderful people,
If we had a country filled with you, we could work miracles as a nation. That is not a political comment, by the way, just another way of saying how truly blessed this old man in particular is to have people of Faith like you who have no idea who I am, praying for me to get better.
It has been a long road since the earlier this month when I posted but the difference between then and now is like the difference between that hour before sunrise when it is darkest and when that glorious light spills over the horizon.
There are so many others who need your prayers; you have boosted my spirit every day as I saw a prayer and every morning when I realized I’d turned the corner and was mending it simply was proof of what I know and Believe; that prayer works.
I am an old sinner that God gave a second chance to realize the difference between success in the world and success where it matters, in how you live your life, how you treat other people and most importantly that you realize that there is this amazing thing called love and that someone over 2000 years ago gave His life because of his love that my soul and all the souls on this world might be saved,
I am no longer ashamed of tears, not when they are tears of joy that I got the chance to learn these things and the chance to do something with the time I have been given.
If anyone ever doubts the power of your prayers on these forums have them send me a private message and I will ask my wife to take a short video of me walking. I will attach a scan of the myleogram of my spine and why I should be in a wheelchair. Prayer works and God will indeed help if we but ask. Is that not a truly beautiful thought for this Saturday morning?
We can close this thread as my crisis has passed and we all know how many others there out there that need help. Once I become a member of the Church, I plan to try and join you in your prayers for others. I do so now regardless.
I hear God’s glory coming through loud and clear.
Someone for all of us to emulate.
