Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On earth as is it is in Heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil

Amen

Loving God,

We lift up in prayer our intentions for the healing of Heather, a 21 year old niece of my coworker, who was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. We ask for mercy, strength, and courage for Heather, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. We also ask for trust in your divine providence for Heather’s friends and family members, so they may be a source of comfort and strength for her in this time of great trial in her life. We also ask you to send competent and compassionate medical care givers into Heather’s life. Please bless Heather and help her through this challenge and suffering in her young life.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.
