I had a lupus flare that lasted 4 months this year because I refused to take steroids … I was trying to lose weight and steroids don’t help in that regard at all … but I have to do what I have to do … so if the doctor says steroids, I will take them … have to have that surgery on January 4 … hope they give me that date … it’s not final yet.
Thank you for the continued prayers … I appreciate people who are sticking by me with this … it’s a long haul … and I get by daily knowing that I have so many prayers coming my way.

Had to call the doctor … seeing a little bit of blood in my urine … they say it’s the first sign of kidney cancer, but it’s scaring me. Waiting to hear back.
Getting the MRI on the 7th … doctor won’t schedule surgery until MRI results are in … I’m thinking he may want to make it earlier? I don’t know.

You heal the sick and needy. We give you all those parts which have suffered from illness. You know what it is like to endure pain.
Look kindly on Katherine today and heal her. Restore her to strength of soul and body. Give Your gift of wisdom to her physician that they may be guided by the Holy Spirit in all they do.
Bless her nurses so that their hands will become Your hands as they touch her. Bless, too, her medication.
