Please pray for me, Possible Cirrhosis of the Liver

I read the report … it doesn’t sound good … and this one is from Sloan Kettering, so there are no mistakes. I would have been better off with kidney cancer, they can cure that.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Katherine438). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Katherine438’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

You who wished to see no one injured or in discomfort, pray for Katherine and guide her through this difficult time. Daughter of God, wounded many times in battle, I petition you for healing of body, mind, soul, and spirit, so that she may be better able to serve God in whatever capacity He wishes. Intercede for her please. Help her to remain strong and be healed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Did they say how bad it is? I was once told that, but from an ultrasound, and it ended up being what they called “ fatty liver disease.” I lost ten pounds and it was gone.
I’m sorry you’re going through this. You are continually in my prayers.
 
I could really use that boost of equanimity … I was very angry when I found out yesterday … just too much to handle after the false kidney diagnosis.

I’ve had fatty liver disease for a while now … but I just got off the phone with my Lupus doctor who said that this was exacerbated by the Lupus medications and the Lupus itself … right now I’m not feeling positive about this because I have 5 symptoms that I had not told a doctor about … cirrhosis explains all 5 symptoms … so this is not going to be good news.

I’ve gotten in touch with the Liver Institute at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ … I am going to go there after a few more tests from my regular gastro doc.

As the saying went “keep on keeping on!”
Do what you have to do, but do not get ahead of yourself or your illness. One day at a time.

May God bless you with competent doctors, technicians, and all involved in your care. Praying for support for you and your family, and that God will comfort you in the “waiting part” of all of this.

You come into my thoughts many times during each day, and I offer a quick prayer for you each time, as I am sure others here do as well.
 
Have an appointment at the Liver Institute of Robert Wood Johnson for December 10 … hopefully I’ll be able to get the new MRI before that … but this is a great liver doctor so I’m happy I have the appointment. I’ve been doing a lot of research … some stuff is not good that I have … but my blood work shows some good stuff and the MRI had some good things on it too … so I’m thinking I might not be as far along as I thought … but this is a very hard disease to figure out … that’s why I have to go to a good doctor … the doctor I’m going to is a hepatologist … unlike gastroenterologists, they only do livers.
 
Had to change the appointment at the Liver Institute … they were going to have me see a nurse … I want to see this famous doctor … so my appointment is March 31, 2020.

Meanwhile the gastro doctor I have now called me and said she prefers that I get the liver biopsy … so they are scheduling it … probably be some time in December. The biopsy will confirm I have cirrhosis and tell them a lot about what stage it is, etc.

God Bless everyone that prays for me … I’m in more trouble with cirrhosis than I would have been with the kidney cancer.
