Please pray for me, Possible Cirrhosis of the Liver

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Katherine438’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

UPDATE >>> VERY BAD NEWS

Went for an ultrasound of my kidneys yesterday as a test before the parathyroid surgery … they found a tumor that looks malignant on my left kidney … surgeon may not do the parathyroid surgery … won’t know until I meet with a urologist he is sending me to on Wednesday … this urologist handles kidney and bladder cancer … so I will be bringing him the test results along with the films … but from the report that I read on the ultrasound sounds like they are pretty sure that the tumor is cancerous.
 
That’s the cancer my father-in-law recently had surgery for. Continuing prayers for you Katherine!

Praying that your tumor is benign.
 
Thanks … but from what the report said, there’s not much chance that it’s benign.
 
I’m just hoping that if it is confirmed to be cancer … although the report seemed to say it was certain it was cancer … that it has not spread.

Thank you for your prayers … I’m out of likes right now … just want to say thank you to the people who continue to pray for me … your prayers must be helping, because I have been able to stay calm even after bad news … my general doctor called me at 5:30 last night … he went to look at the films yesterday at the hospital … told me I have to take this very seriously … I guess because I’m not freaking out he thinks I’m not taking it seriously … but I am … yesterday I got all the papers together for the urologist appointment on Wednesday and I will be picking up the films from the hospital on Wednesday morning to bring with me to the urologist … also made an appointment at Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute … first appointment I could get was October 29 … but they told me to get more testing done and a biopsy before that date … so I’m sure that’s what the urologist will do. They are most likely putting off the parathyroid surgery that was scheduled for the 10th, but I’m still not sure about that.

Anyway, thank you kindly for all your prayers … I’ve never felt that I needed prayers as much as I do now … for some reason I can’t seem to pray for myself … hope that changes.

Does anyone know how to change the name of a thread … this thread should say “Please pray for me, I have cancer” … @camoderator
