Dear God, Your daughter Georgia really needs Your help. You have been there for her always and she is still struggling. Please, God, help Georgia get the well-deserved rest she needs. She knows You love her and with You, God, all things are possible. Please help Georgia this day and always. Amen, Amen

I didnt sleep too well last night and woke up really feeling depressed for some reason. I wish I knew what is going on but I dont. I am almost thinking it may be something hormonal. Or that I just need to go away for the day just to get out of here. I wish that the gas prices werent as such because I would love to go back to my hometown for a visit and see my relatives even though it is only a 60 mile trip. I wish I could get my husband to understand this but I am not able to. Anyways. I am sorry that I am always coming on here to whine about things but just seems like it would be better if I could get out of here for a full day. Leave early in the morning and not get back till late at night. God just help me. Thank you.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Your problems are shared by so many of us at different times in our lives. I’m really praying for you. You are probably right…harmones can cause sleep disorders and mood changes. Prayers are going up.

Thank you for your prayers. I am going to try getting some sleep now. I hope once my head hits the pillow it is going to be lights out boo boo. Please pray that I get a good nights sleep and wake up feeling good as well. Thank you again. I am praying for all of your intentions on here. God bless you, Mary Keep you. Gigglin or Georgia.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.

Loving and merciful Lord, You know Georgia’s heart, having conceived of her from all eternity as an irreplaceable part of Your Divine Plan. We pray that You reveal your kindness to her, as she has long endured the testing of her faith. Lord, You see that she faithfully prays for those in need. We now join in prayer for her, as she is also in great need of Your mercy and comfort. Heavenly Father, Your Blessed Son said to His disciples, “Peace I leave you. My peace I give you” His promises are true, and we ask that His peace be upon Georgia, bringing a glorious calm to her spirit. May she sleep amidst the chaos just as did our Redeemer on the disciple’s boat while it took on water. May the faith and love which calmed Jesus’ spirit be sent now to calm Georgia, allowing her to place her entire being in Your Loving Arms as she drifts into blessed and rejuvenating rest, knowing that You love her and always grant what is best. Graciously incline Your ear to hear the intercession of Your Eternal Son, Who sits at Your Right Hand and knows of her faithfulness to You. We ask this through the same Jesus Christ, our Divine Intercessor and Shepherd. Amen! Alleluia!

Thank you for the prayers. I am feeling really tired today for some reason. It is like I only felt like getting my husbands lunch made and then going off to bed. I dont even feel like getting showered this morning. I just want to go to sleep and stay in bed but I know I cant do this. That Ancient Chinese Disease of Dragon Butt is a real bugger this morning. Maybe if I go off of here for a while and pray my Healing Rosary or something I will feel a bit better later this afternoon. Anyways. Thank you all again for your prayers. I am offering the following Our Father and Hail Mary for all of you and your intentions.

Please forgive me everyone for not posting more prayers today and tonight. I just didnt really feel much like being on line today. Seems all I did was lay around and sleep and watch tv. I am kind of feeling lonesome tonight for some reason. I cant put my finger on the mood its not meloncholy anger or the blues. Please pray that I can somehow muster up the strength to fight this thing that has me in its hold. Thank you. God Bless you, Mary Keep you. Georgia or gigglin.

Child of God, see if you can get some healthy sun (with spf:) ), healthy exercise to boost happy hormones, some serious gardening, grow happy beautiful things. Everyday do something extra-special for your husband, any little thing…make it extra-ordinary with no self-interest in return (so you wont be dissapointed if not recognised). Write a gratitude journal everyday, compare your life with most of the women in other parts of the world “You are so blessed, in more ways than one”. Grab on to that gratitude and stay away from the negative poison of tv, we cannot save or change the world, but we can save and help ourselves and our primary apostolate which is our home.

God bless you…

Dear Lord,

Please give this giving and caring woman the peace and guidance she needs to overcome her anxiety and illness. Please help her to realize how important she is to all of us here at CAF and that helping others is the best medicine for her as you have shown all of us this beautiful teaching of the Church. We are all graced with true happiness and mental wellness when we do for the least of our brothers. May she see your face in all the people that she helps during the day. Give her the peace to sleep through the night and be strong enough to enjoy her day and continue to help others as she is blessed with this gift.
AMEN

In Christ’s Peace and Mercy,
Kathleen

Good morning Georgia, I hope this day finds you feeling well rested and in better spirits. I have been reading through your thread, and offer you my condolences along with my concern. I understand that you are afraid to visit with doctors, and do not wish to be overmedicated. God bless you! But as I read through your symptoms, I am concerned that there may be more to this than meets the eye. When was the last blood-test you have had done? Lack of iron and b12 can create much of the symptoms you have, the lethargy/fatigue, depression/moodiness, along with lack of clarity in thought, and poor sleeping. My daughter suffers also from these symptoms, and is currently awaiting an upcoming haematologist appt. because her bloodwork came back showing these deficiencies. She suffers from something similar to anxiety attacks as well… they call it “hyperventilation attacks”. She suddenly finds herself unable to breathe, and has extreme difficulty regulating her breathing unless she catches it early enough. A panic sets in during this time, but that is simply due to the hyperventilation depleting oxygen to the brain. This too, is suspected to be a result of insufficient red blood cells carrying oxygen to and removing carbon dioxide from the body. Her family doctor has repeatedly dismissed these symptoms as teenage hormones, but I insisted on bloodwork being done because of some bleeding issues she faced as well. I prayed to God for help, and he did so… when the test results came back, it was a replacement doctor who read them, and contacted the haematologist for an appointment. Further trips to the emergency department for further problems have resulted in more bloodwork being done, and further evidence of irregularities in her blood.

I pray that with God’s guidance, you will look into further diagnosis of your symptoms, and that with His healing grace, you may soon find relief. If not with a medical practicioner, perhaps holistic caregivers may be within your grasp? They too, can provide many answers, and use natural methods, like dietary supplementation to promote healing in the body.

May God be with you in your healing Georgia. I hold you close in my prayers. :hug1:

It is back and I need your prayers please.

My anxiety and depression has gotten so bad that Eddie,my husband, had to make me eat something yesterday because I had gone 3 days without eating and when I did drink something it was just enough to wash my meds down. I have been taking my meds right. I just dont have any zip in my de do dah any more. Please remember me in your prayers so that I will get the strength to get through this time and when I wake up in the morning that I will stay up and not go back to bed. Thank you. Georgia or Gigglin. If this keeps up I guess I am going to have to change my nick to WomanInConstantSorrow.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

Let us raise our eyes to Christ. For his people he was born; he died; he rose from the dead. So let us put our trust in him and pray:
  • Lord, give salvation to those you redeemed with your blood.
Blessed are you, Jesus, saviour of mankind. You did not hesitate to suffer and die for us:
by your precious blood we are redeemed.
You promised to give water welling up into eternal life:
pour out your Spirit over all mankind.
You sent your disciples to preach the Good News to the nations:
help them to extend the victory of your Cross.
The sick and poor share your cross:
give them the gifts of strength and patience.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Almighty Father, let your light soak deeply into our minds.
Stepping forward in the light of your commandments,
may we follow you always, our leader and our guide.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.
