I am only a teenager, but have already done very stupid things (i.e. choosing to get high). I definitely believe in God and I attend church every Sunday, but I feel as if I do not have his presence in my life as of right now. Please, please pray that I may find him again and may I heal from my addiction.

Thank you!

Well, now you are doing a very smart thing and that is asking your fellow brother and sisters in Christ to pray for you. We are all weak and sinners and in need of prayers, the Sacraments and the Mass to help us live a life that we are all called to; Holiness. I will pray for you and your addiction. I think that it is great that you ask for prayers. Don’t allow this addiction to run your whole life. I have a cousin who is now 31 years old and started taking illegal drugs at the age of 12. He is still an addict and sells the drugs. He says he can’t get off of them now. He takes Heroin, cocaine and crack. He started out with crack and said he would never do the hard stuff, but ended up doing it. He has been in jail three times for possession of drugs. I don’t know what happened to him in prison, but he came out and said he has no more tears to shed.

I think it is great that you see you have a problem and need help. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your parents, the priest and whoever else that will help. Stop this early and it won’t ruin your whole life. I will pray for you tonight in my rosary and remember you from now on. Please keep us updated on your progress, even if you fall, get up and keep trying.

As far as getting closer to God. Frequent reception of the Sacraments will help and reading the Bible and meditating on it. Any spiritual reading would also help and if you drive, drive yourself to any Catholic church and sit before Jesus in the Tabernacle and if there is Holy Hours, do that. Jesus will transform you himself into his image and likeness. Don’t give up hope. Jesus loves you. I will ask our Mother Mary to pray for you too. You can ask all those saints in Heaven to pray for you. St. Augustine is a good one too.

Hey - I’ll be praying for you!!

I’ve recently come back into full Faith of the Church and I’m really excited to go to Confession and let things out!

Just the excitement of going has me thinking you may want to go to confession and see what the Lord says!

Have a great and Blessed night!

Ask your guardian angel to take you by the hand and lead you to Confession …

Praying for you …

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Hi 👋

God bless you, I will sure pray for you. As soon as possible go to confession, and lay it all out on the priest. It is all good… believe me, he has heard much worse, so he can handle it. Make sure you let him know about you not feeling the precense of the Lord and ask him to check out a youth retreat for you. Retreats always helped me, to deal with the stresses teenage years brought. You already are on the right track, by asking for prayer:thumbsup: , we will keep you in prayer, while you go to your pastor for guidance.

Remember this, not “feeling” the Lord, does not mean, that He is not there. He is always there, sometimes He chooses to stay quiet and just watch us…to kind of see, how we do on our own. You get it, right? Like a parent letting the baby take his first steps, they let go a bit and that baby wabbles and sometimes falls, but parents are always there to pick baby up again. THe Lord is there just watching you take those steps on your own. You took a bad step, now leave it behind and take the rest all straight, OKA!😃

Jesus, we thank you for leading
this young person to this prayer forum!
We thank you for giving them the wisdom
to ask for prayer.
We ask you to make your presence known
to Sushierror all day, everyday.
We trust in you JESUS!
AMEN

Since you are blessed to be a Catholic, you may receive Reconciliation. You may also inquire as to when Eucharistic Adoration is. Since Christ is present, go and spend an hour with Him. Let Him speak directly to your heart. Miracles have happened before the Blessed Sacrament. I have seen them. He is waiting.

Christ’s peace.

Merciful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, You know the heart of sushierror. In Your Divine Mercy, we beg You to intercede before the Father on sushierror’s behalf. This world, which is patrolled by the evil one, surrounds us and tempts us and we need the strength and consolation of Your presence with us. Graciously reveal Your Saving Presence to sushierror, so sins may be repented of and temptations may be avoided. You, O Lord, provide the only direction we need in our lives. May our prayers be added to those of the Angels and Saints to form an endless petition before the Father on sushierror’s behalf. We humbly ask this in Your Heavenly, Holy and Eternal Name. Amen! Alleluia!

I will be praying for you sushierror that you get off the drugs as many times there are curses attached to them.

Thank you for all of your prayers. Please, please know that it means so much to me. 🙂

I think the biggest problem of mine through all of this is that I am afraid of failing again. I understand the Lord will always be there to help me pick myself up again and guide me to a better life. However, I cannot help to feel so embarrassed and shameful for my horrible acts against myself and especially God. What should I do? There are many times when I let God down and I feel terrible. 😦

We all let God down constantly and have similar feelings to you. Saint Paul thought he was a wretched man! Peter asked the Lord to depart from him, because he was sinful. The Father sent Christ to redeem us, not to recognize our goodness.

Consider that, when you were less than one year old, you began to take a few steps. Perhaps you used your hands to help you as you stumbled along the length of a coffee table in your parent’s house. You fell - many times. Did you stay on the floor, crying? No! You got back up and tried again. Fighting the evil one is very similar to this. Keep fighting and keep getting back up when you fall. The Lord loves it when you struggle, remembering that His Blessed Son struggled to rise with a cross on His back. Christ not only fell three times, he got back up three times. Why? To complete the act of dying for you. Thus was born your salvation. Again, as Saint Paul advised, “fight the good fight”

Don’t beat yourself up! The world will do that for you. When you do beat yourself up, you weaken yourself. It is then that the evil one sees his chance!

Our prayers remain with you.

Keeping you in prayer. Don’t give up! We all do things that we are ashamed of…you’re not alone. Pray and talk to Our Lord. He knows your struggles. God bless you!
