Please pray for me. I had lost my temper and I was very wrong. Now, I feel really down and very discouraged.

Water, keep courage in the face of failing. I, too, have this weakness. As another poster related, she offered her anger up to Christ at the offertory at mass. I plan to do the same. I begin each day with the Lord’s prayer and follow it with the act of contrition. I found that it helps set the tone for the day.

Merciful Father of all, Master of Patience, look with great love upon your fallible creations, strengthening them in their weakness. Bless them with Your Heavenly restraint as they confront the frustratiions of life. Envelope them with the peace which Your Blessed Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, left to us when He ascended to You. I ask this through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.

Praying very hard for you. I too have to watch my temper and usually do a good job. I find that prayer, especially an act of contrition helps; I say one every night just before I go to bed. Hang in there, we’re human and just have to keep battling these human weaknesses.

Thank you all for your support and prayers. I am very shameful of what I did. I wanted to go to Confession, but the priest had to stop to celebrate the Mass.

Thank you for the prayer and the Act of Contrition, and I will pray every day.

Dear Water…we are all fighting battles somewhere rest assured and some of them lost rest assured of that too. Trust!

Praying for you,Water,I too have a temper problem,some times,and am sorry the minute,I do.I always apologize right away,I feel convicted,and ask our LORD to forgive me.I think we all are guilty of this,sometimes.
