O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of Mickey whom we entrust to you.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.

Thank you for your many blessings in our lives and we lift up our continuing prayers for the healing of Rocket’s brother Mickey, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will.

PRAYER FOR HEALING

Merciful God,
we remember before you all who are sick this day.
Give them courage to live with their disease.
Help them to face and overcome their fears.
Be with them when they are alone or rejected.
Comfort them when they are discouraged.
And touch them with your healing Spirit
that they may find and possess eternal life,
now and forever.

Update: Watched football on Sunday with Mickey and Ronnie. We had a good time. Mickey has put on a few pounds which is great. Ronnie has open heart surgery tomorrow and was in good spirits considering the situation. Please pray for them both. God bless.

Update: Just got off the phone with Mickey. He just came back from the Doctor’s and they are pleased with the results of the chemo. Please keep the prayers coming and God bless.

*** Prayers continue whether able to post or not. Praying hard for Mickey to have pain relief and heal without further setbacks,will have good effects from chemo w/o side effects, & have successful general healing & weight/strength gain…Praying that all went well for Ronnie. May the Holy Spirit guide his physician’s & caregivers.

We seek thy merciful aid, St. Peregrine, especially for those afflicted or threatened by cancer, by any ailment of the foot, or by any incurable diseases. Please help us quickly to find a cure for cancer, and a remedy for all our human infirmities of soul, mind, and body. Amen.
