Be comforted with the knowledge of our continued prayers, and with God’s limitless mercy. You have the profound sense of loss due to all of the years of gain you experienced during Christopher’s presence with you. Each day is a blessing from God, and you enjoyed so many of them while Christopher was with you. As you pray for Christopher, consider a prayer of thanks to our Loving God, rejoicing in His mercy, for the blessing that Christopher was, and is.

Christ’s peace be always with you.

I just returned from a full day at the Divine Mercy Conference. Christopher was well remembered. Toward the end of the conference a special blessing was given for all the participants with a sliver from the cross that Christ died on and we were to include our families in the blessing. I included Christopher as part of my family.

Christopher is still remembered in prayer during this holiday season. I will also pray that you and your family are able to receive all the graces needed to keep close to God during this sentimental season. :hug3:

Thank you all. Yesterday was a trip downtown to Probate court. Still clearing up estate business, if you can call it that. A 22 yr old doesn’t own much but you still have to jump through the legal hoops.
Going through the contents of his paper work, accounts and pay stubs, some splattered with his dried blood, was hard. ICK! Gave me nightmares. 😦

Precious Lord, strengthen maggieodae as the stress of losing a loved one continues. O Divine comforter, You have assured her of your immeasureable love and mercy. Grant Heavenly peace to her throughout her trial and graciously hear the prayers of the faithful. May those petitions rise to Your throne as does the smoke of incense from the altars of this world, which you created out of love for us. I ask this through Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

I’ve been wallowing in my own self-pity about my personal life all day, and I needed something BIG to get me out of my self and to pray for; and your intention is PERFECT for me right now. Thank You for bringing this very special intention to the Forums for all of us to pray for.

Today is another difficult anniversary. Chris would have been 23 years old today. 😦

My family is struggling through this first Holiday season and first Birthday anniversary since Chris died. All prayers appreciated.
