Please Pray for my family in the loss of Our Christopher

Maggie,
Even in your weakness, you give me strength. I have been praying for you and your family since this incident happened with Chris. During this entire period, you have responded to others in need. You have posted prayer for others even when your world was falling apart.

I thank God for you and all who are like you (there aren’t very many). You will have a special place in heaven.

Thank you all. Phil and Chris’s other friends seem to be doing much better. Thank You Lord! They have convinced themselves it was an accident. We know that it probably was no accident as Chris spent many months in treatment for trying Suicide before, and all of his poetry and last text messages say to us it was deliberate, but if believing it an accident gives them peace I think that is good.

They have grown much from this sorrow of losing Chris, and so we continue to pray God will hold them strong.

“Grandma – does Jesus ever cry? Grandma - does God use crayons to make a rainbow? “ Grandma, do you love me this much… he would ask, as he would stretch out his chubby little arms to hug me.

Just after mid-night, September 29th, 2007, I was awake and praying the Divine Mercy prayers for my Christopher, asking the angels to hold him close and guide him. At 3:26 am, the phone rang with sounds of anguish as my daughter said; **“Mom!!! Chris is dead. He shot himself…what should we do…what should we do?” **

Today, two weeks later, we remember, and we thank God for having had Christopher in our lives. We know God understood Chris’ pain better than we ever could and He knows exactly what to do. I trust my Christopher is now safe in Jesus Arms. Home at last. “Jesus I Trust in You!”

I so understand your pain. My friend called me one evening. Jason is dead. Jason is dead! He shot himself. He is dead. I remember asking who is this because it didn’t make sense. I thought it was a sick joke. It was not joke. I ran right to her house and I cannot imagine a worse suffering for a parent to go through. .Her pain was so aweful. Her son had many emotional problems but we never knew that he was suffering so much inside. It was on October 15 the Feast Day of St. Teresa of Avila. Also after I helped her and even cleaned up Jason’s room and the blood afterwards trying to eleviate her pain.

When I got home later on that night, I reached down in my pocket after just not understanding this whole night. And I found a tiny little medal of the Divine Mercy -Jesus I trust in you. And on the other side our Lady. I know an angel put that there just for me to understand that the Lord allowed this to save his tormented soul. At the funeral the Priest had a vision of Jason receiving the Chalace. He understood this as the cup of suffering.

I will keep you and your family in prayer. This will take a long time to heal and I pray many consolations to be sent your way.

Keeping you all in prayer…
 
Maggie, as you know I attend mass daily. Ever since your announcement, you and Christopher have been in my prayers at mass. I also have a grandson (my one and only grandchild) that I have been praying for over the last 12 1/2 years. Now, when I pray for my grandson I remember to pray for your grandson too. My grandson has never been baptized and is being raised by a pagan new age mom. I believe there is hope for my grandson and I believe there is also hope for your grandson.
Saturday morning I will be attending the Divine Mercy Conference in Sacramento. I will definitely remember Christopher when I am there.:blessyou:
 
Oh, what trust and Faith you have in OUR LORD,GOD bless you and all that suffer with you.I cry over such small things,you’ve really made me THINK,and not to complain over trivial matters,my son is leaving for prison next week,and I’m grieving over that,after reading what you have and are going through all I can say is JESUS,I’m sorry.Praying for your continued peace,knowing your son is with our merciful LORD.

God does give us hugs from heaven, if we keep our eyes on Him. A suicide has got to be the worst way to lose a child…but I know God never lost sight of Chris and your friends son. He understands their pain.I pray for your friend also.

Thank you for the prayers for Jason and his mama also. I agree that I can’t think of a worse suffering for a mom or a grandparent than suicide. I offered my Mass this morning for all of you. I pray continued Hugs from heaven sweetie for you and for you family.

Eternal Father,we offer you the most precious blood of your divine Son Jesus,in union with the masses said throughout the world today,for all the holy souls in Purgatory,for sinners everywhere,for sinners in the universal church, for those in our own home and withen our familly,amen.

Every time you say that prayer 1000 souls go to heaven,so I will say lots of them for Christopher.

Yes, i pray this prayer often, it is the prayer of St Gertrude The Great. Dictated by Our Lord to release 1000 souls from Purgatory each time it is said… Wonderful isn’t it?

Another one from Our Lady for souls in Purgatory is praying:

I Believe In God 5 times
Hail Holy Queen 1 time
Our Father 1 time
Hail Mary 1 time
Glory Be 1 time
Requiem 1 time

Requiem: Eternal rest grant unto them Oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them and may they rest in peace. Amen.

I just returned from a full day at the Divine Mercy Conference. Christopher was well remembered. Toward the end of the conference a special blessing was given for all the participants with a sliver from the cross that Christ died on and we were to include our families in the blessing. I included Christopher as part of my family.
