Teresa, thank you so much for your prayers for my dad, he had a bad day, really tired, 😦 his hair is about gone. God bless you Teresa, you are in my prayers as well. On a happier note, my cousin, Donny entered the church today–he waited 2 years for an annulment for this day, I went to help him celebrate.

chris, thank you so much for asking. She is in good spirits and has a very positive attitude. She’s having the sentinel node biopsy on 12/14, then the surgery on 12/15.

You and your father will be in my thoughts and prayers this week.
 
**My dad had a better day he went to Mass this morning and asked his priest if he could wear a hat durning Mass since he is nearly bald from the chemo and Fr. was very supportive. Then he and my mom went to the Oblate Shrine that is close and lit a 14 day candle and then out to lunch at Denny’s!! Tomorrow our whole family is getting together for dinner since my dad will have chemo on Tues and may not feel well for awhile. He’s cooking!! **

All went well today, dad had his chemo, and is back home resting and waiting to see what the side effects will do this time:(. Last time the first week was the worse, then it got much better with just a couple of bad days. Lord, make haste to take care of my dear father. thank you. And thank all of you for your continued prayers and support, is has made a unbearable situation, bearable. :hug1:

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal my father,Manuel. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into his body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for his creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I ask you to obtain for me the favors that I seek a miracle healing from cancer for my father, Manuel. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles.
O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was full of sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to be held in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever by yours. Amen.

**Sweet Infant Jesus, You best and only hope of afflicted souls, I prostrate myself at your feet and ask You, through your immeasurable love and grace, by which you did visit Your blessed servant St. Anthony, and comfort and embrace him, to come to me at his intercession and let me taste how sweet Your presence is to the souls that trust in You. Amen **

Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my father shall be healed.
 
Dear Lord, please give Manuel strength to tolerate the chemotherapy and mercifully bless him with few side effects - all towards his ultimate and complete healing.
