**po18guy: I understand God’s will be done but I am not ready to accept His will unless it is inline with mine, not yet anyway. We are only 2 months since dx. and are still in shock. This could certainly change…this whole nightmare is a process and takes little steps to accept and deal with. You are way ahead of me on this journey…thanks for your prayers and time to post here. **

UPDATE: My father had a great day. He** is doing much better all his tests are good and unless anything changes he will be released in the morning. He feels great and is ready to get out. He’s one of those people who doesn’t sit still much which makes this difficult for him since he is always moving. **

Thank you Isabella, Kathryn Ann, Teresa and Amiciel for your prayers. My father came home from the hospital today and rested. He plans on taking a short walk tomorrow. He will have his first PET scan on Friday(12/30) to see what the chemo is doing to the tumors. Please pray we see some positive results, we need them!! His next chemo is Tuesday Jan. 3. You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. I now ask God to heal these sick persons whom I entrust to you:

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal my father,Manuel. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into his body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for his creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I ask you to obtain for me the favors that I seek a miracle healing from cancer for my father, Manuel. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles.
O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was full of sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to be held in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever by yours. Amen.

Holy Mary

Mediatrix of All Graces and Mother of Mercy, remember the infinite treasure which your Divine Son has merited by His suffering and which he has confided to you for us, your children. Filled with confidence in your motherly heart, and for the sake of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, please obtain for us the graces we ask.

Dearest Mother, if what we ask is not God’s will may we receive that which will be of greater benefit to our souls. May we experience the kindness of your intercession with Jesus during life and at the hour of our death.
