Lord thankyou for hearing our prayers for our friends father and thankyou that he has now finished his chemo.Thankyou Lord for guiding the doctors.We continue to pray for a miracle of healing for this father.Lord please continue to place Your healing hand upon him.We pray that JUNE 25TH will birng good results.Please guide all medical professionals to have the skills and knowledge necessary to help him.We pray that the chemo and any further treatment will continue to be very successful and continue to shrink the cancer.We pray Lord for both mother and father at this very worrying and stressful time.I ask You would place Your healing hand upon them and guide them and comfort them through their worries that they can resolve their concerns peacefully.Lord please hear our prayers for this dearly loved father,mother and all this dear family.Thankyou Lord for hearing all our prayers Amen

Well the scan results were not as we had hoped and prayed they would be—there is no cancer activity in the esophogus/stomach area(he has esophogeal cancer) but there is activity in the liver. He begins chemotherapy again on Tuesday. We are heartbroken.:crying:

Dear Chris I am so sorry the results show activity in the liver.Positive news though about the stomach/oesophogus area showing no cancer activity. Prayers continue especially for the next round of chemotherapy begining on Tuesday.(((HUGS)))

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty”, the “The Wonder Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in their need. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being. You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. I now ask God to heal these sick persons whom I entrust to you:

Aided by your powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude to God for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal my father,Manuel. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into his body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for his creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I ask you to obtain for me the favors that I seek a miracle healing from cancer for my father, Manuel. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles.
O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was full of sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to be held in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever by yours. Amen.

Amen

Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my father shall be healed.
 
In addition to daily prayer, Manuel’s intention was placed before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament Thursday afternoon. Amen.

Lord thankyou for hearing our prayers for Manuel,our friends father. We pray that this next round of chemo starting on Tuesday will be safe and successful.Thankyou Lord for guiding the doctors.We continue to pray for a miracle of healing for this father.Lord please continue to place Your healing hand upon him.Please guide all medical professionals to have the skills and knowledge necessary to help him.We pray that the chemo and any further treatment will continue to be very successful and continue to shrink the cancer.We pray Lord for both mother and father at this very worrying and stressful time.I ask You would place Your healing hand upon them and guide them and comfort them through their worries that they can resolve their concerns peacefully.Lord please hear our prayers for this dearly loved father,mother and all this dear family.Thankyou Lord for hearing all our prayers Amen
