trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation

Begining Round 2: For a miracle healing for my father, Manuel with cancer. Praying that the chemo which was administered 7/3/12, 7/17/12 and 7/31/12(was not administered because his white blood cell count was low) will kill the remaining cancer. Next chemo scheduled for 8/14/12. Praying for no side effects from the chemo regiment this time. Thank you.

Update: My dad did have his chemo today, he does still have a low count, but not low enough to delay treatment. Please pray that it goes up so that his next treatment can go ahead as planned. Thank you all for your prayers. Have a great day!!

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal my father,Manuel. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into his body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for his creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I ask you to obtain for me the favors that I seek a miracle healing from cancer for my father, Manuel. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles.
O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was full of sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to be held in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will ever by yours. Amen.

Sweet Infant Jesus, You best and only hope of afflicted souls, I prostrate myself at your feet and ask You, through your immeasurable love and grace, by which you did visit Your blessed servant St. Anthony, and comfort and embrace him, to come to me at his intercession and let me taste how sweet Your presence is to the souls that trust in You. Amen

Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my father shall be healed.

We pray that the chemo will be safe and successful.Thankyou Lord for guiding the doctors.We continue to pray for a miracle of healing for this father.Lord please continue to place Your healing hand upon him.Please guide all medical professionals to have the skills and knowledge necessary to help him.We pray that the chemo and any further treatment will continue to be very successful and continue to shrink the cancer.We pray Lord for both mother and father at this very worrying and stressful time.I ask You would place Your healing hand upon them and guide them and comfort them through their worries that they can resolve their concerns peacefully.Lord please hear our prayers for this dearly loved father,mother and all this dear family.Thankyou Lord for hearing all our prayers Amen

in all his necessities, tribulations and sufferings,
particularly to help hi to get better from his illness
and to give him good health
and to guide his path,
and that we may bless God with you
and all the elect forever.
I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude,
to be ever mindful of this great favor,
and I will never cease to honor you
as my special and powerful patron
and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty”, the “The Wonder Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in their need. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being. You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. I now ask God to heal these sick persons whom I entrust to you:

Aided by your powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude to God for His great goodness and mercy.
