I humbly ask that forum members please pray for my Grandmother, who is having a endoscopic procedure (camera sent down her throat) to check for what is blocking her bile ducts and keeping her ill.

She is a woman who has been through much - her husband (my Grandfather) passed under three years ago and five days later her youngest child and only daughter (my Aunt) also died very suddenly. However, she is also a woman of faith and has kept strong through these two years. However, she is also quite old physically, now, and my family and I worry about her greatly.

I would also like to relay, in a message of encouragement for those still praying for sick loved ones, that so far the kind intercession of Our Blessed Mother as well as St. Peregrine has prevented any detection of cancer in her via CT scan, which was feared. Still, there is a slim chance that malignancy will be detected in her procedure tomorrow morning.

Thank you for your prayers, and God Bless you.

Please assure your Grandmother of my prayers. I’ll keep her, and you all, in my prayers and daily Masses.
Jesus, please glorify Yourself in her.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name,
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I hope and pray that what is making her so uncomfortable will prove not to be serious.

Praying with you for healing for your grandma in whatever they find…also strength to get through it all…also for all the sick…In JESUS name we pray…Amen…Warmly, LynneMarie

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God
pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thank you all for your kind prayers.

My Grandmother went through with the test today. Her breathing, however, was at risk, and they had to intubate her (put in a breathing tube) so they could breathe for her during the procedure. By the Grace of God, she got through that, and even though her doctor seemed sure that she would have to keep the breathing tube in overnight and stay in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of the hospital, she was able to get the tube out and was placed in a normal hospital room. She is in good spirits, talking, and eating.

The downside so far seems to be that it is still inconclusive whether or not she has a tumor on her pancreas. Another test (or tests) are needed to confirm or disprove a diagnosis, so please continue to pray for her that she will be delivered from a cancer diagnosis, but if not, that the Will of God would be done for her, and that she, my family, and I will be able to follow and accept whatever we are asked to bear. However, I still say that by the power of prayer she has so far dodged a diagnosis of cancer.

Thank you, again.

Thank you all again for your kind prayers. A further update:

My Grandmother is scheduled to go into UCLA Medical Center on Friday. By the Grace of God, she is going to that place, I believe, for it is one of the best hospitals in the nation, and she will be in the best hands medically that she could be. There, they will do both the same procedure she had at her local hospital last week, as well as an ultrasound test to see what is going on exactly with her pancreas. Continued prayers are requested that she will continue to avoid a cancer diagnosis, and that the Lord will guide her and my family through whatever we may face on Friday.

Thank you.

Jesus please help this grandmother in this illness. Please allow all that ails her be made evident so that she can receive the best treatment for her recovery.
Thank You, Jesus

Tomorrow, Friday the 19th, is the day where she will go to UCLA for the tests again. Pray to Our Lord that she will be free of cancer diagnosis, and for my family and I that we will be an instrument of God’s Will for her whatever the outcome! Thank you. Prayers for St. Peregrine’s intercession are also appreciated.

Thank you very much, everyone, your prayers are very much appreciated.

Please Lord let the test be negative, Let the tumor if there is one be benign.

I had pancreatic cancer, the test showed a malignancy then at md anderson a little over a week later the tests were negative for cancer. I still had to have the awful whipple operation to remove the tumors but no radiation or chemo.

Have your grandmother take tumeric and restravol, both have been subject of pancreatic cancer studies and destroyed cancer cells in pancreas. Tumeric should be taken with fish oil tablets which are good for you by themselves but help absorption of ingriedients that attack cancer cells. in Jesus name I pray for this woman and her family, amen

Further update:

Thank you all for your prayers. My Grandmother successfully went through her tests on Friday. I am amazed and praise the Lord God for providing such good health for her, at 83 years old, through such rather physically demanding procedures. They did find a “mass” on her pancreas, they believe, and they took some biopsy samples. Please continue to pray to St. Peregrine for intercession and to the Lord Our God that she will be free of any malignancy (cancer), but moreover that the Lord’s Will would be done for her. We should know by the end of the week.

I thank you very much.

Amen. Amen. St. Peregrine of Lasiosi pray for her, and for our dear grandmothers who are most in need.

Amen. Amen. 🙂 Deo gratias.

Bumping this thread for as a request for continued prayers for my Grandmother. On Wednesday of this week (so, on March 11th), she will go in for a special CT scan at UCLA to see what exactly is going on with the mass they believe they found. On Friday, the 13th, however, is the real day of reckoning, so to speak, when we will be told of her diagnosis and the possible options for her.

Please continue to pray to St. Peregrine and the Lord Our God that her mass would be benign, if He so wills it, and that my family and I would be an instrument of the Lord’s Will for her.

Thank you all so very much, and may God Bless you.
