Lord, please bless this family. In the name of The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Amen

Lord, we lift this marriage up to You, asking that You shed Your mercy and grace upon it. What You have joined together, let not man put asunder. Amen!

Lord,
Just like St. Monica and St. Rita we love our husbands and want them to rest by your side. Lord, please open their hearts so that feel your love.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Lord, graciously hear our constant petitions on behalf of Cassie and John. We know that You have joined them together for the duration of this life, and we seek to preserve that union through the efforts of our prayer. In the fulness of time You will reveal the perfection of Your Divine plan. Keep us faithful to prayer and soften John’s heart as he ponders the consequences of his decisions and actions. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Thank you for all your prayers!

My son who is having problems with his wife is home with me now. He is trying to get the marriage annulled. There were things that he wasn’t aware of and were not disclosed before they were married. My son is hurting, but continues to be strong and is trying to do the right thing. Please continue to keep him in your prayers and also his wife, who also needs prayers and God in her life.

John and I continue to talk. His parents know that we are divorced and I visited them yesterday and talked with them. They said that they will continue to include me in all the family events and that I am still their daughter to them. My father-in-law said that he talked to John for quite awhile and told John not to jump into another relationship right away since this one isn’t over yet. He said John got real quiet for a moment and then continued their conversation. Our families have been very supportive and want what is best for us. I continue to pray for John and for us. I have told John that I do not feel divorced even though I have a piece of paper that says I am. I am not looking for another relationship, I am concentrating on myself and my son right now who needs a shoulder.

It sounds like John may be home in three weeks. I am nervous about seeing him since I haven’t since the divorce. My love for him hasn’t changed but my attitude towards life has. Little by little I am realizing that I am here because of the grace of God. I am guilty of letting my life revolve around John rather the Lord. I know that I can survive without John in my life, it will hurt, but I can do it. It also has been through all your prayers that I have come this far and I pray that God blesses all of you!

May this next week bring special blessings to all of you! God Bless!

Dear Cassie, how lovely you are.
You and John will continue to be in my prayers and daily Masses, and now your son. I do feel for him…my own son has been through that during this last year.
God bless you and your marriage, and I thank Him for the graces of such good parents-in-law and for the graces He has give you.
Take care of yourself. Love, Trishie
