Despite the message from the world, God has His own message for us. Many times, the thing that seems the most logical is not what God wants us to do. God lets us know what is the right thing, sometimes through a gentle certainty in our own decision, sometimes by hitting us over the head with it. If you feel that you should hold on and that things will be right in the end, then you are most likely doing the right thing. God’s ways are not our ways and the only way to make the right decision is through prayer. You and many others have been praying. I will continue to keep you, your husband, and your sons in my prayers.

Thank you all for your continued prayers!
I know that I haven’t posted in awhile, but please know that you are all in my prayers everyday.
John and I continue to have our ups and downs. He called me on Thursday all depressed and wanting to end it. I told him that many love him and that he would hurt alot of people if he did that. He is afraid that he has destroyed the love that I have for him by what he has done and that I will not wait forever for him to make up his mind. I tried to reassure him and told him that no matter what I still love him and support him. He called me on Friday and I haven’t heard from him since. I called yesterday and left a message wishing him a happy 4th, but since it went right to voice mail I think his phone was turned off. I don’t know if he is spending the weekend with the other woman or not, but it bothers me even though I can’t do anything about it. I continue to pray for help in this matter. I did have a session with my therapist this past week and she told me that I am a very remarkable woman with how I am dealing with all of this. I admit I don’t feel that way, but when I feel low I feel His presence and I feel some kind of peace. I started this post over a year ago and looking back I have come so far with His help and your prayers, thank you. Please keep John and my sons in your prayers, I love you all!

He started to cry and told me that he had to get some sleep and that he would not do anything to harm himself and that he would call me tomorrow. I am praying that God will be with John right now, he is suffering. I have always believed that John is a good man and still do. I love John unconditionally and pray that he will get help. Thank you in advance for your prayers, I know that they help and they mean alot to me.

Lord, I ask that you take your son and give him hope in you. That he open his heart to your healing. That he love you more than anyone else. With your love in his heart he will know right from wrong. And only your love will lead him to his family.

Heavenly Father, we lack understanding of all that surrounds us, and so we turn to You, who are understanding itself. We beseech You to accompany Cassie and John throughout their lives, from beginning to eternity. We lift them up to You, begging Your mercy. We offer ourselves to Your will, that nothing might impede it from taking place. Keep each of us faithful to You and, through the intercession of Your Blessed Son, may our prayers arrive on High.
