Remembering you and John and your son and his divorced wife in prayer. I’m sorry to hear about your son’s divorce finalisations: I hope both he and she find peace through Christ.

I hope John’s back/respiratory problems sort themselves out soon! My family has a history of poor lungs and my mom and dad have suffered awful back pain also. Best wishes to you both! God bless. :gopray:

He has had upper respiratory problems for the past month and they cannot find out what is wrong. He sounds beat when I talk to him and I feel awful for him, he is trying so hard. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. My son and his wife are now divorced. It has been hard on him. Please keep him in your prayers too. May God bless all of you!

Thank you my friends for your continued prayers!

My oldest son, Steve, who was in Afghanistan, may have to do another tour over there. I pray that he won’t, it scares me, but I know that the Lord will watch over him.

This past Monday was John’s father’s birthday. I had not seen his parents since John left in June even though we live 4 miles away. I brought over a birthday gift no knowing how I was going to be received. They were happy to see me and told me that they didn’t know how I would receive them if they stopped by, I’m glad I did. They have been very good to me and I told them I would always consider them part of my family no matter what happens with John and I. I told them that John and I are friends right now, and that I don’t know where it will lead, but I am letting go and letting God direct me. They told me that they are going on a trip to Ireland in the beginning of November, even though neither one is Irish, they have always wanted to go and it will be their 50th wedding anniversary in February so they are treating themselves.

Please continue to keep all 3 of my sons, John’s parents and John in your prayers. May God bless you.
