Thank you Jay53, wina, simon x, Anna100 and po18guy for your prayers! I have had a difficult weekend and am hoping and praying that tomorrow will be better. I know that if my husband does not make a decision about what he wants I will have to for the sake of myself. I still love him very much and hope and pray that we can reconcile, but if he is unwilling to give up the other woman I don’t know what to do except let him go. This would be very hard for me to do and something I look at as a last resort. I still have hope and faith that we can reconcile because I know that there is much love and care for each other, which makes everything more difficult. I do not want to split the family which I love and cherish very much, so I keep praying for the answer. I wish there was an easy answer, but there is not so I keep turning to the Lord for help. I am continuing to pray for all who are in similar situations. May the Lord Bless You!

Just a note to encourage you to continue to be strong. Your faith amazes me. Your devotion amazes me. I understand where you are coming from with regard to having to make a decision on your own. We will all pray for guidance and direction for you. Just know whatever you feel led to chose I and others will be behind you. I wish I had a magic wand that I could wave and make things better for you but I don’t. Just know you are loved and alot of people are pulling for you. You can and will come through this time. I have faith in and you and in our God.

Hang on in there Cassie, beyond the darkness there IS light, GOD will lead you, you already have a hold of His hand.

“Distress and anguish have come upon me, yet thy commandments are my delight. The justice of thy decrees is everlasting, give me understanding and I shall live again.”

With love and prayers

Thank you for your continued prayers! I am still feeling terrible and have broken down crying off and on. Yesterday I called my husband and he sounded tired and depressed. I was on my cell phone and told him I would call him back when I got home but he said he would be home later that night and he would call, he never did and turned off his phone. I was worried all night and this morning when I still couldn’t get a hold of him. I left messages and finally I got a hold of him. I was so thankful that nothing had happened to him I started crying. He then asked why I wasn’t at work and I told him that I was having some physical problems and was worried about him. It then went bad and I started crying even more and he told me that he had broken it off with the other woman and that he was mad at the world and that he was tired of being my babysitter and told me to grow up. There were other things that he said and then he told me that he was filing for divorce. I have been trying to pull myself out of this depression and have gotten help, but I feel it’s not working. I pray that when my husband and I talk tonight we can talk like adults and the way we have been before I had my breakdown. Please continue to pray for us, I still love him and believe that we can work this out but we need God’s help and I am asking for it. May the Lord Bless You!

Thank you for your continued prayers. I have found that I am being supported by many who work with me and around me, for that I am forever grateful. I have made an appointment to see a therapist, but it won’t be until mid-December, but I have been told and have read that this therapist is good, so it is worth the wait. I pray that I will be able to wait that long. I am also praying for my husband and that he will find the help he needs. Please continue to pray for our marriage in that we will be able to reunite. I still believe, have hope and faith that this marriage will be healed, it sometimes gets hard, but I continue to believe. May God Bless You!

Cassie, we are all still praying for you and your husband…

I will pray for you, Cassie. Keep that chin up…help is here on the forum, on the way with the therapist, and most of all, help is always found in God…even if it isn’t quite what you expect. God bless you, your husband, and all your loved ones.

Continued prayers that God’s will be done in both of your lives. May the peace of Christ dwell in your hearts. Amen.

Thank you for your continued prayers. I do not feel as depressed today but I am still struggling. I did not talk to my husband yesterday, he did not answer his phone, but I left him messages telling him to have a good day and that I missed talking to my best friend. He called this morning and said that he did not have his phone with him. We talked briefly, but at least we talked. I am praying that he is taking his medication and not trying to stick it out without it. I know I have to keep going on and taking care of myself, but it is hard. I continue to pray to God and ask for forgiveness for my sins. I know He hears me and I know He has a plan for me it’s just that right now I feel I am struggling to keep my head above water. I continue to draw strength in those around me and from all of you. I still love my husband very much. I continue to have hope and faith that this marriage can be saved. Thank you for your prayers. May the Lord Bless You!

Things have gotten worse. My husband blames me and is mad at me for telling his family that we are having problems. I told him I needed support from people who love the both of us and only want the best for us. His family is staying neutral in this, but still love both of us. He is blaming me for his dad not talking to him, which is not true and for me not be able to keep this secret. At the time he was set on getting a divorce, so what would have been the secret? I asked him how many people out there are from our area that know about what he did and he didn’t say anything. He still says he is going to send the papers. He claims he doesn’t have any respect for me anymore and doesn’t love me the way he use to. I am crushed and very heartbroken because I feel this is all my fault even though I know it’s not. I will continue to pray that God will be with John and that he will see how much I am hurting and still love him. I have started to think of my life without him, but it is hard since we have been together for over half my lifetime. He says he is so mad at me that he will not come home for Christmas to see his family. This makes me feel so much worse because I think it’s because of what I told them. I hope and pray he changes his mind, his parents love him so. Please continue to pray for us for we are in a crisis right now and we are both hurting so much. Thank you so much for your continued prayers, they mean everything to me!

I’m sorry to hear about the increased weight on your crosses. I’ll pray for you and John…keep treading water and think of the Sacred Heart. God loves you.
God Bless. :gopray:
