Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement Jim and Diane. I do not feel strong most of the time, in fact I feel like I am weak. I talked to John yesterday and he told me that he loved me, but not to put my heart out for him. It’s too late for that, I love him unconditionally and continue to do so even though he has and continues to do things that hurt me, I forgive him. I have posted in the past that I have continued to pray to God that John may be healed. God has answered me in that John is now on new medication and he promises that he will keep with it and he has given up drinking. I am so thankful for this and I told John that I was proud of him. I also told him that there was a support group near him if he was interested and he is. There is also a support group for people whose loved ones are suffering from mental illness near me and I am thinking about going too.
I admit that I was feeling down again this morning, but have asked God for strength. I know I have to follow His will because mine is not perfect, but that is so very hard. I know that I am not alone even though, like this morning driving to work, I felt that I had nothing left in the world, I do. I am continuing to try very hard to trust in the Lord in finding happiness within rather than trying to find it with someone. This is hard for me, but I know I am not the only one that has gone and will go through this. I do not want my marriage to fail and I continue to have faith that it will be reconciled. These next few months will be tough. March is when the papers will be ready to sign, I am not looking forward to that, but things can change and continue to do so everyday. I just pray that both John and I can find happiness within ourselves.
Thank you for your prayers. I know that God has been listening to you all and I thank the Lord for all his blessings He has given to me, including the recovery of my mother from her accident. May God Bless!
