Please Pray for my Husband

I’m so sorry to hear about the divorce finalisation…John’s clearly upset about it too… I’m continuing to pray for *you and John *(and for all those with martial difficulties or break-ups, on this thread and elsewhere) every night. Try to take one day at a time, and don’t give up hope! You have done everything you can and I’m sure that God loves you very much for your perseverance. :console:
 
Praying for the two of you, since you remain one flesh, made so before the Lord.

Heavenly Father, may Your healing Grace be upon John, restoring his vision of the love which has always existed in his marriage. Graciously lead him away from the temptations of this world and back to the purity of love that he possessed when he entered into the Sacrament of marriage. Out of love, bless him with medical care which will restore his thoughts and actions to those which seek to strengthen and maintain the family which he has started, along with cassie89. May love prevail over all worldly concerns. We ask this through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Thank you all my friends for your continued prayers for both John and I.

I am sorry for not being on for awhile, I had computer problems and finally got it fixed.

John and I continue to talk at least once a day. He is really doubting himself about the decisions he has made, the divorce, being gone, and chasing the dollar. I know God has been working on him when he tells me these things. He has asked me again if I would go with him to the clinic to try and get his depression and whatever else he has under control. I told him I would because he is my friend and I do not want him to suffer so. I continue to love him but am also continuing to work on myself. I am not sure what lies ahead but I am not going to be afraid of it because God is with me.

Please continue to pray for John’s health and my family, I know God is listening to all of your prayers. May God bless you!

Cassie, of course it is proper for you to go with him. In God’s eyes, the two of you are still one flesh. Man’s authority does not extend to the dismantling of Sacraments. Since you love him as much as ever, continue to reveal that love to him. There is a good reason why he has asked you to accompany him. If your world is upside down, just imagine what John is going through. He likely does not feel in full control of anything.

Merciful Lord, we have been witnesses to the journey that Cassie and John have gone through. We are aware that you see all, but wait. We pray that John, in the silence of his heart, will ponder these recent events to the core of his being. With Your leadership and inspiration, O Lord, may he realize his mistake and turn back - back to You and to Cassie, as You and Cassie are the source of love in his life. Grant this, O loving God, through Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Cassie. You are one of the most amazing people I have ever come across. My prayers for you and John continue and a candle was lit for you at Mass yesterday. May God continue to bless you with His wisdom and may God continue to flood John with His love. John and you are in my daily prayers always. Thank you for your continued prayers! I pray that the Lord will help John, he is so confused, angry and depressed right now. I continue to love and care for him as much as I ever have and have let John know. I don’t know what lies ahead for us but the one thing that I have learned is that God will never give us more than we can handle. It sometimes seems like it’s too much, but I pray and ask Him to help us through it.

I continue to pray for all of you, my friends who have been with me on this rather tough journey, but many of you are also going through trials of your own. May the Lord be with you!
 
You know…I have heard that God sometimes needs to break a man in order to bring him up to a faithful disciple. This is good, we need to continue to ask the Lord to touch John’s heart. So that John can accept and love the Lord.

Cassie, I am proud of you! You have come along way…and continue to love. This lenten season…I offering up to the Lord my fast to all the broken marriages that need his healing.

There is hope.

I will be praying that during this time your husband will open his heart to the Lord God and you both can make it thru you marriage. Keep praying, I will be praying. Espically that your husband finds God in his body, mind and soul.
