He was really cool and the appointment went well. I had medicine changes and new diagnoses. I’m bipolar, I have agoraphobia, and anxiety.

I am so happy for you that your appointment went well 😃 I pray that the new meds will bring you help and relief. I went through a bad spell a few years ago with anxiety and agoraphobia so my heart goes out to you.Praying you will feel the positive effects if the new meds soon.👍

I pray for Kendra, that she may be able to treat her bipolar disorder, anxiety and agoraphobia with therapy and medication. Please intercede for her with a God in her time of need, and may her illness be managed and bring great glory to God. Saint Dymphna, martyr of purity, patroness of those who suffer with nervous and mental afflictions, beloved child of Jesus and Mary, pray to Them for me and obtain my request.

I’m so sorry that you had a problem with anxiety and agoraphobia. But I do have to say, I am actually kinda glad someone knows what that is. I haven’t announced my health problems because of the stigma attached, but I have told my super close friends and my family. You have been the only person to know what it is. 😊

Kendra, you are not alone. I have been diagnosed with double depression, general anxiety, social anxiety and agoraphobia before. My agoraphobia manifested itself in that I could not go anywhere new without someone like my husband, a friend or my parents, with me. Sometimes even going somewhere familiar, like the grocery store was overwhelming. A lot of my agoraphobia I was able to overcome by a special grace from God, but it is still present at times. My heart goes out to you and I will continue with prayers on your behalf. :hug1:

I totally understand how your agoraphobia was. I made myself go shopping this past weekend. I didn’t need too many items at the department store, just new sports bras and socks. I had to call my husband to come inside (he was at a store next door) because I started panicking. It is utter hell. Thank you for your kind words and I will keep you in my prayers, as well. :hug1:
