My mother in law, Ana, is in the later stages of Alzheimer’s. She is still physically active, but this stage of the disease leads to an obsession with sexual matters. She expresses this frequently, and it is quite a distraction to her daughter, who cares for her at home. My brothers and sisters, if you would be so kind and loving as to offer a prayer for her in this regard. May the Lord God richly bless you in this Advent season, especially on those occasions when you use His precious gift of life on behalf of those in need of prayer. May Christ’s peace always be with you.

Dear Po18Guy,

I will include Ana in my rosary tonight. I hope she will be doing better. God bless you for being so kind to her.

Heavenly Father I ask you to keep my Mother, to deliver her from all evil and for her to have peace. Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Praying. I lost my mother to Alzheimers, it’s a horrible, life and dignity robbing disease.

Praying Ana and family…I know how hard it is. My father had Alzheimer’s and it is so heartbreaking to watch them deteriorate.

I understand the horrors of this disease all too well, having an aunt in the latter stages of this disease now, and loosing a brother-in-law to this disease 15 years ago. Alzheimer’s is such a heavy cross to bear for both the inflicted person and the family.

Ana will be in my prayers this night, along with my aunt. May they both meet one day in the joy of our Master’s house.

Blessed Mother in Heaven, take Ana into the Garden of Your Immaculate Heart and give her peace.

May the Lord bless all of you faithful brothers and sisters in Christ during this Advent, and throughout the year. In Ana’s case, it is those who love her that are suffering. She is regressing to childhood little by little. I lift you all up in prayer. May Christ’s peace always be with you.
