who has a staph infection. They are treating it with antibiotics and he seems to be improving.

Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant Steve
for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
he may give thanks to You in Your Church.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen
 
Lord, most certainly You hear the fervent prayers of the faithful. Incline Your ear, if You will, to hear our petitions on behalf of Steve, whose body is fighting a serious infection. Let not this affliction deter Your divine plan for him from being realized, O Lord. Grant that the doctor has chosen the medication wisely, and mercifully bless Steve with the grace of a fortified immune system, which will assist in killing the invasive bacteria. Most of all, may the faith that is demonstrated through these prayers call Your loving attention to the pressing medical need of our brother. We ask this, loving Father, through the intercession of our mother Mary, and of all the Saints who are in both time and in eternity. In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.

Lord, hear our prayer.
 
Father in heaven, You know our needs before we ask, and so we pray:

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Mary, mother of the Word Incarnate, you know the love of a mother for her son, and so we pray:

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,

Update: Spoke with Steve yesterday and he seems to be doing fine. Thanks again and God bless.
