I have had a stomach ache in my upper center/right stomach since the minute I got up yesterday morning. Please pray for my stomach pain to go away. I feel the pain when walking, laying down, and pressing on my upper right stomach. I also have been belching and producing flatulence a lot.

:gopray2: Dear God, please help my stomach pain go away, and please make sure it is nothing serious, if that is your will. Saint Elmo, please pray for my upper stomach pain which hurts when I walk, lay down, and press on it. Amen. :gopray2:

Go to emergency immediately, that could be gall stones and that is nothing to fool around with. I mean it, it killed my Mom.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Melodeonist. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Melodeonist’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

I would like to note that I am a bit of a hypochondriac.

I can’t seem to convince my mother to go to the emergency room. She says I am too young for gallstones. My Father says he has bad insurance, and that he wouldn’t be able to afford emergency room if nothing was wrong, or something along those lines.

One thing I would like to note, is that my pain isn’t intensifying (as far as I can tell), and I don’t have back pain. I feel a little better after burping, or producing flatulence. The pain has been chronic, from yesterday morning, to right now. The pain really in in the center of my uppermost part of my abdomen, but pressing the center area is where it hurts the most. The right hand side hurts second most, and the left hurts the least. The pain actually is not that severe. It feels like a bad case of gas. :o

I would also like to note that pushing out, and sucking in my stomach makes it hurt. Flexing my stomach muscles makes it feel better. 🤷

This is actually similar to the boy who cried wolf. I often am paranoid about my health. Hopefully I do not have a gallstone. One thing that makes me think it is something minor is that the pain seems to cease when sitting still. :gopray2:

Dear God, please guide me to do what is best to get rid of this stomach pain. If it is your will, please help my stomach get better. Saint Elmo, please pray for my stomach, that the pain may pass, with no problems. Amen.

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Obviously, you have my prayers.

But, for God’s sake - and yours - go get some medical advice. There are a number of things you could have, and severe pain that lasts over 24 hours shouldn’t be ignored.

Reflect on the ‘parable’ below and remind yourself that God may already have provided you with the answer to your prayers…
*A very religious man was once caught in rising floodwaters. He climbed onto the roof of his house and trusted God to rescue him. A neighbour came by in a canoe and said, “The waters will soon be above your house. Hop in and we’ll paddle to safety.”
“No thanks” replied the religious man. “I’ve prayed to God and I’m sure he will save me
A short time later the police came by in a boat. “The waters will soon be above your house. Hop in and we’ll take you to safety.”
“No thanks” replied the religious man. “I’ve prayed to God and I’m sure he will save me”
A little time later a rescue services helicopter hovered overhead, let down a rope ladder and said. “The waters will soon be above your house. Climb the ladder and we’ll fly you to safety.”
“No thanks” replied the religious man. “I’ve prayed to God and I’m sure he will save me”
All this time the floodwaters continued to rise, until soon they reached above the roof and the religious man drowned. When he arrived at heaven he demanded an audience with God. Ushered into God’s throne room he said, “Lord, why am I here in heaven? I prayed for you to save me, I trusted you to save me from that flood.”
“Yes you did my child” replied the Lord. “And I sent you a canoe, a boat and a helicopter. But you never got in.”*
God has provided you with doctors and people advising you to visit them…

I have decided, that if I don’t feel be tomorrow, I will go the to doctor. 🙂

My young daughter has gall stones. ANYONE can get them’ I will pray for you and your hypochondria, but it’s nothing to ignore. Pain is an indicator! See the nurse in the clinic/infirmary at your school, maybe she can impress on your parents the need to see a Doctor about this.
It’s a prayer thread, and we can’t give medical advice, but it’s not a joke!!!

My mother agreed to take me to the doctor if the pain does not cease tomorrow. I am home schooled by the way. I am very thankful I am home schooled, especially these days, with rampant fornication, and drug use in schools.

OK, it’s a prayer thread.
But really…fornication?

Would your father rather see you dead? Honest to Pete, there is no age limit on gall bladder trouble, nor heart attacks either. And gall bladder trouble often mimicks a heart attack. Your symptoms are exactly like my Mom’s. She suffered off an on for a year before she decided to see a doctor, But by then the problem had gotten out of hand and she died from the operation because one large stone got lodged at the head of the pancreas and while they were trying to remove it her right lung collapsed and she died after three days of horrible agony. Get Dad off hid duff, he will just have to give up his beer and smokes so you can see a Doctor, maybe even get a second job.

Almighty and Everlasting God, the eternal salvation of those who believe in You, hear us on behalf of Your servants who are sick, for whom we humbly beg the help of your mercy, so that, being restored to health, they may render thanks to you in your Church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen

Sounds like gallstones to me. I had them and fooled around with them for several years before insurance would pay for a gall bladder removal. I had many agonizing attacks, some of which I had to go to the hospital for anyway and got pain meds stronger than morphine.

You at least need to find out what you’ve got. See if you can get an ultrasound of the area, that ought to let you know one way or the other. Take it one step at a time.

There is, or at least there used to be, a procedure to smash the gallstones with shock waves.

You sit in a tank and shock waves converge upon the stones and then smash them down to a size where they will pass. It leaves a lot of bruising in the gallbladder, but at least you get to save your gallbladder. There also used to be a few meds which would help dissolve them. I don’t know whether or not they still do that though.

Those were both kind of iffy. Ultimately, I had to just go and get my gall-bladder removed. I never did try that other stuff (I don’t know, maybe I did take the stone dissolver and it didn’t work . . . can’t remember . . .)

You need to get a diagnosis though before you can do anything else. Take it one step at a time. Go and find out what you’ve got first.

Praying for you.

Today, I noticed that the pain is far less noticeable when laying down. Initially, it hurts, but soon after, it becomes far less noticeable. I would like to note that digging my finger nails into my leg (simply to test how much the stomach pain hurts, I do not wish to hurt myself!) hurts more than the pain. The pain almost completely disappears when relaxing, and just sitting still. The pain feels somewhat like when you are very hungry, mixed with gas. It hurts the most when moving. I also discovered that it does hurt when I press on the left side of my upper abdomen. I have been wondering, could this be gastritis?

Planning on going to the doctor this afternoon.

Also, thank you all for the prayers. 🙂
