BTW, thank you guys so very much!!! I’ll let you in on a little secret. My mother is also the mother of “On Fire”. Keep him in your prayers as well!

My mom is 79 years old and has never recovered from knee replacement surgery - 6 years ago. She also suffers from diabetes. When her blood sugar spikes, she experiences dementia. This is usually relatively harmless, until she wakes up in the middle of the night and wishes to go to the bathroom. Mom forgot that she can’t walk, got out of bed, and proceeded to fall. This has happened periodically, with nothing to show but a bruise. This time, however, she stepped wrong and broke it in two places right above the knee. This happened early Wednesday am, and she’ll be operated on Friday around noon.

Thank you all for keeping her in your prayers. The prayers of a community are so overwhelming and amazing. The Body of Christ is one of His greatest Gifts, and that’s true on so many levels, eh?

Well, mom’s out of surgery. She’s doing fine, but she’s going to be in ICU for 24 hours, so that they can monitor her heart.

Most merciful Lord of all, look with Divine compassion upon NotWorthy’s mother during her suffering. In Your infinite love, grant blessed healing and comfort to her, that she may praise You and bless Your Holy Name to highest Heaven. Graciously hear the prayers of the faithful as they lift their imperfect voices in prayer to Your perfect Being. Your Divine Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us on the cross. May NotWorthy’s mother offer her suffering up as a prayer of thanksgiving for Your Mercy and Love. I ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
