Hello everyone,

I don’t often post (too shy, I guess), but I read the forum threads a lot 🙂 , so hopefully that counts for something. Our daughter entered Carmel as a postulant last spring and will be having her Clothing tomorrow morning as she enters the novitiate. Please pray for Sister Miriam Thérèse of the Holy Face (aka Sister Kelly)! And if you could, please add some prayers that the weather will turn for the relatives and friends that are stuck at airports today so that they can arrive safely to witness her special event.
Thank you and God bless you all,
Peggy & Jeff

Praying for your intentions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Awesome! … Praying for Sister Kelly and that all may arrive to witness this event.

Thank you for all your prayers! Almost everyone has arrived safely so far!

Prayers, especially to her patroness St Therese of Lisieux (of the Holy Face)

Dear Peggy and Jeff…How wonderful! Clothing is such a wondrous thing for the postulant and the community…and the family and friends…Praying for you all, and the weather…

I would be honored to pray for Sister Miriam Thérèse of the Holy Face (aka Sister Kelly)!

You must be so happy! Please tell us how it went, I’m sure
it was beautiful! What a blessing for your family!🙂

Thank you all! Her Clothing was beautiful! My heart leapt to my throat when I first saw her appear at the Communion window. She had on her postulant habit. There was much beautiful singing by the Nuns and lots of prayers from the Monsignor as he blessed her habit and asked what she wanted from the community of Carmel. Her face was so radiant and she was beaming from ear to ear. When she was prostrate, Mother Mistress sprinkled the pink rose petals that Reverend Mother asked us to procure at the last minute the night before. It was so, so beautiful! She had a bouquet of fresh white roses with a white candle and a crown of white flowers atop her veiled head (the chapel was decorated with roses as well). She cried tears of joy when Monsignor announced that “…henceforth you will be known as Sister Miriam Thérèse of the Holy Face.”
After Mass (TLM), we visited with Sister in the speakroom and she was so surprised to see all who had traveled to witness her big event. We’ve had a lovely couple days of visits and are going to say goodbye to her today.
I told her that I had written a prayer intention on the forum and she was grateful and humbled by all who prayed for her.
Thank you all very much!
God bless you,

How wonderful! Praise God!

Loving and Divine Creator, we thank and praise Your Holy Name for creating this willing heart who pledges her gift of life to Your service. As a Saint in the making, look with immense love upon Sister Miriam Thérèse of the Holy Face, who loves You more than Your precious gift of life itself. Reveal Heavenly mysteries to her heart, that she may ever live in rapt adoration of You. May she inspire seeking hearts to love and serve You above all else. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.
