I wonder how the OP is feeling now? The post dates back to September last year.

I’ve found that the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been very effective in controlling my depressive mood(s). I do it almost every day. I pray to our Holy Mother of God that wherever you are, may you be happy and healthy with your beloved ones. Amen. 🙏
 
I’m doing well, thank you for asking. Prayer, my family and medication has been invaluable during my journey. There are ups and downs as anyone with depression will tell you. So many people out there suffer from depression, and this virus won’t help. Please continue to pray for those who continue to suffer.
 
I also suffer from depression … thank goodness the medication I take works quite well … glad to hear you are doing well.

In the past, I’ve dealt with both depression and anxiety.
A verse that I found helpful was 2 Tim 1:7 “for God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of POWER and and love and self-control.”

Then there is the “give no thought for the morrow” passage.

From me:

Our Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, please comfort and strengthen those in dark emotional places. Bring them into your joyous light. Please calm and reassure those who are anxious that You are in control and will care for them - they’ve nothing to fear.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

@Convert3 Glad that you’ve the required support. I’ve myself suffered from it - depression is so crippling. I hope one day I wont have to deal with it anymore. God bless ! 🙏

Interesting. Using the rosary to focus on Christ has gotten me through some tough spots. I concur 🙂

I also pray that since last September, the OP is doing better.
