If I was that intelligent, I’d be able to communicate my message more effectively. The problem is not that I’m “too bright”:, it’s that I’m not bright enough.:imsorry:

And I may know a lot about this specialist area, but I’m horribly ignorant in others. I’m learning though. There are some good teachers here.

What you are running into is blindness. Those who don’t see whats happening, because they don’t want to see the truth. The problem is, these people are parents, in leadership positions and even medical related positions so they have to be dealt with. What makes this tough to deal with is those who have no knowledge of this area think they know plenty enough to judge for themselves, even though they never read a scientific article or book or met someone like us. As long as the status quo prevails there will be suicide and depression to a very large extent amungst our community. If I would not have been raised with the fear of Hell by my parents I would of taken my own life a long time ago, but instead I live the constant depression called disthymia, and likely will till Im in a situation where Im allowed to be the real me.
 
If GID is a mental illness, it seems to be the only one cured by transition to the professed innate gender identity via hormones and surgery. Gender reassignment surgery has been regretted when performed on individuals with autogynophelia which is a sexual paraphelia and not a true gender identity dysphoria.

It is probably a good idea for a person who transitions to go to a new parish.
